All of my life I have the ability to read people's emotions and sometimes have been able to "feel" or "sense" their thoughts. This is not something I try to do and it is not something I embrace, nor do I tell others about it. I've also had predictive thoughts, where something will pop into my head and then shortly after, it happens. For example, a certain episode of a TV show will come to mind and the next time I turn on the TV, that show will be on. Or a certain actress once popped into my head. Later that day I heard she died. Last night I had a song stuck in my head and tried to play it on guitar. I watched a movie later and that was the theme song! I almost always know who is calling before I answer the phone or the door. I know I'm going to get a text before my phone buzzes. The day of the Eaton Center shooting I was overcome with a sadness, I knew someone was going to be suffering because of a gunshot....that was the most accurate premonition I've ever had.

The thing is, I never know which of my random thoughts is an intuitive one until after an event occurs. And the kicker is, I don't believe in paranormal phenomenon or psychics. There has to be a logical explanation for this!

I am currently seeking a psychiatric assessment. I have little patience for social situations, partly because it is too stressful for me to be sensing/reading so many people at once. And since I already know what people are thinking and feeling(usually) I have little interest in conversation. And I can quickly spot liars LOL.

Anyway, this is not something I ever tell anyone about, except my mum as she exhibits some of the same intuitions, but hers are not nearly as strong as mine. I just wish I had a logical, science based explanation for it.

I want to edit scenes out of videos I take so I can have a short video with all the boring bits removed but I don't know how or what software program to use. I tried on Youtube, but it only lets me crop the beginning or end, not remove single scenes from the middle. I have Windows Movie Maker but I can't figure out how to do it there either.

I bought a new MP3 player but I can't find anywhere to buy music for it that will sell to Canadians. Where can I buy digital tracks in Canada?

My blog posts in Blogger are doubling themselves when I post. I try to edit them and in the edit window they show up single. I don't know what is going on and I need to fix it. Someone please tell me what to do!!

I am a stay at home mum and I don't have any income beyond what I get from the government in the form of Baby Bonus and Universal Child Care Benefits. (I live in Ontario). I want to start an Etsy business but I don't know how much I am eligible to make before I have to pay taxes on it. My income from the government comes to about $3000/year and I file my tax form along with my husband who lists me as a dependant. I don't expect to make much on Etsy, its just a hobby but I don't want to get into any trouble.

Xcaret is an amusement park in Mexico and my husband and I can't agree on how it is pronounced. Does anyone know?

I am taking a free Spanish course online and I am having a lot of trouble understanding the meanings of the following words.

I know they mean "this" "these" and "those', but I almost always use the wrong one. Why is "These are trees" "Estos son arboles" but "these are coins" is "Estan son moneda". I don't understand the differences!!!

I am going to Mexico in 8 weeks and I would like to pick up some conversational Spanish. I can already speak a bit, and I can understand a lot of what is written in Spanish, but I would like to round out my knowledge a bit more.

I just joined Avon as a sales rep this week and now that I have done some reading about it online, I think I may have been suckered into a scam. It seems to me that "multi level marketing" is just another term for pyramid scheme. It costs $20 to sign up and each brochure is 1$, you have to pay a 2$ handling fee per order and you have to order something every other campaign. If you only have a few customers, you could easily spend more than you make! They say that the real money is in recruiting and I don't want to recruit anyone. I just want a legitimate job that I can do at home as I am a stay at home mum to two little boys. I really don't want to get sucked into a scam!

I adopted a long hair tabby from a woman who had to get rid of him due to her son's allergies. He is neutered and de-clawed and a beautiful friendly cat. I have had him for 3 days now. The first two nights, he peed on my couch and this afternoon, I found that he had pooped in my son's room. I moved the litter box yesterday and he has used it since. His previous owner said that he likes it kept clean, so I have done so, yet he is still misbehaving. What do I do? I think he was very attached to his previous owner and he is very upset over the move and that is probably why he is acting up. Just the same, I can't have him doing this. How do I get him to stop?

This is our third winter living in this house, an old victorian, and we have never had a problem with the pipes before. Last night we had a cold snap(-17C) and my bathtub hot water tap won't work. The toilet isn't flushing either. The water comes in, but nothing will leave the bowl. I turn on the hot water tap in the tub and nothing comes out...not even a drop. I thought only cold water pipes froze. The tub is on an exterior wall and the pipes run behind it. The water is fine in the rest of the house, all except the pipes running in my bathroom, which is situated on a north facing wall. The water in the bathroom sink...in between the toilet and tub...works fine. I'm confused, is this caused by a frozen pipe?

I had heartburn in the middle of the night and took some Tums. The bottle was nearly empty and I accidently left it in reach of my 2 year old. As far as I can guess, there were about 10-12 tablets left. When I got up this morning, the bottle was empty! I think my son ate them. The bottle says nothing about overdoses, and doesn't have a childproof cap. The maximum dose is 7 tablets a day, for an adult. He seems fine, and is eating his breakfast. Is 5 extra tablets enough to overdose? I don't want to take him to the ER if it isn't serious, or if they will just send me home. Anyone know anything about this?

My husband broke a bone in his foot and is in a cast. Would it be helpful for him to take a calcium supplement to help the bone heal better/faster?

I have a flea infestation! I got rid of my cats, but can't get rid of the bugs. I thought I had most of them, but it seems that new ones have hatched(they are much smaller than the first round). I vacuum and I sprayed the furniture with an IGR insecticide. I am pregnant and don't want to use too many chemicals in the house, but I have to get rid of the fleas. It seems we have more now than when I started. I bought one of the flea traps with the light and glue pad and that works well, but it is very localized, it doesn't get them all. Can fleas breed if there are no animals in the house? I read that they lay eggs after a blood meal, does that mean human blood? I haven't noticed them biting too much, though. Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated!
