I have long been an "information collector". When I was 12 we got an encyclopedia and I read it endlessly. Now it's time for me to share.
Would you please explain what cosplay is?
I was under the impression that cosplay was a group, but now I see it used to mean something else.

5 AnswersWeather10 years agoHow do I get the windows on my MacMini to fit in the size of the screen?
I'm constantly having to use the slider bars to move pages up and down, and from side to side. They just appeared like this one day. The windows used to fit in just fine.

I know it's traditional, but why build a seperate library when we have so many?
6 AnswersGovernment10 years agoWill Yahoo! Answers have to make us use our own names now that using "false" names is a federal crime?
I heard this on the news this evening. They did not mention Yahoo! Answers by name, but did say it was now a law that we cannot misrepresent ourselves or use false names.
6 AnswersYahoo Answers10 years agoWhat is the correct spelling for "ankle oscene spondylitis"?
I heard an add requesting funds for it and discovered it's not in any of my dictionaries. The name of this disease is echoing around in my brain. Now I HAVE to know the proper spelling.
2 AnswersInjuries10 years agoWhat is Dulche de Leche, and how is it different from regular milk?
I was listening to a Cooking Channel program that was describing a pastry made with dulche de leche. I was wondering what it is and how it's different from milk in a recipe.
3 AnswersEthnic Cuisine10 years agoIs there a way to get my MacMini to copy an answer from Y/A! to my email address?
I see some recipes that are good for me here, but there are no tabs to send them to my email account. Do you know a way I can copy them without just getting out a pen and paper?
1 AnswerOther - Yahoo Mail10 years agoWhen plumbing is getting old, how can you tell how long it will last?
A small plumbing incident (an invisible leak) cost us $6,000. When the plumber was done he blithly told us that we needed to replace all of our indoor plumbing for $15,000. What are the signs the plumbing won't last any longer? What do we look for as signs of imminent disaster?
Also, how are all the pipes replaced in a house that is already built? Can they be pulled out through openings in the attic?
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoWould you give me a good recipe for a pomegranite salad dressing?
I tasted one this week and suddenly fell in love with the fruity salad dressings I had turned my nose up on before. My mind is open!
3 AnswersCooking & Recipes10 years agoWould you answer my revised question about hyperklemia?
I saw an episode of "Trama Life in the ER" many years ago. A man had jumped off an four-story parking lot and lived for a short time. The fall wasn't a direct cause of his death. The ER teaching doctor said the man became hyperklemic because of the fall, had become a bad of liquid, and died. I would like to understand what happens after the body sits on the gourney for a while after that event.

Or do they resolidify in some form?
1 AnswerMedicine10 years agoHave you ever used "Iodasorb"?
I use it now and part of it formed such a tight seal with my wound that it won't even soak off. I've tried gently rubbing, but that hurts. Is it safe to leave it there until it finally comes off at some other time?

3 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoWould any of you like to know about this year's World Body Painting Festival in Austria?
I know some of you have shown interest in attending the World Body Painting Festival. It's in Austria, and this year they are planning such a blowout that they've reserved an entire small city. Just do a search for "World Body Painting Festival" to find the website. Some of the words in the website are in Austrian, but most are in English. If you see that, you're on the right website.
It is my life time dream to attend this event one day. Will you send me pics if you go?

2 AnswersDiabetes1 decade agoWhat happens if a diabetic wound heals from the outside in?
I have had one of those wounds since September and two of the smallest ones seem to have healed with the yellow bacterial layers still in the wound, which the wound physical therapist did not want to happen. I'm still waiting to see the wound doctor, but getting an appointment is frustrating to say the least. He works half a day on Wednesdays only.
