  • Can I handle five preps?

I will be teaching four preps a day, and one extra test prep (SAT) one day a week. I will also have to clear my credential. I am kind of worried about doing five preps, especially knowing that I havent ever even taken the SAT myself. What do I do? Should i take the offer oe reject it? It's for teaching math.

  • is it ok not to say thank you?

I sent someone special a birthday card. I mailed it Monday for his birthday on Tuesday. I'm sure he got it by now and didn't even say thank you. In fact, he hasn't talked to me in days and I know he is ok. He lives alone, has no one to take care of,doesn't go to school, he just works, so I know he isn't drowning in work.

What does it say about him?

  • Am I really THAT unimportant?

Him and I used to work together. Then I left to another location. I offered my help with some stuff he had to do. So he said to call him. I call him and he is on his way to get food. So we start talking and as he is talking to me, he is ordering food. My every other word is interrupted with him talking to the person taking his order. Then the order was done and he started chatting with that person ad he picked up the order. Then he starts driving. Then he gets home and says he has to go.

I thought it was rude. I mean if you want to talk to me, then at least dedicate a quiet 20 min to talk to me. He is getting other things done while talking to me and I felt like I was just another thing on his checklist or something. I felt like i wasn't given undivided attention.

Am I wrong to think like that? Was that rude on his part?

  • dehydration symptoms?

Nausea, headache, sleepiness, fatigue. Lightheadedness when I move suddenly. Just ended my normal period 4 days ago. No signs of anything weird or changing like itchy vagina, painful urination, foul odor, weird color, etc.

Pretty sure I'm not pregnant. I work hard but don't stress, eat well, sleep 8 hours a day, but am thinking that lately I havet been drinking enough water. Could this be dehydration?

  • i feel tired and naseous after sex for days?

I had sex. March 30, then April 27. So not so often. Same guy. Both times were protected. It's now April 30 and I've been feeling nauseous and tired. Very tired but I don't really throw up. It just feels in the back of my throat and a heavy feeling in my stomach. It's been like this for the last 3 days.

I'm obviously not pregnant. He wore a condom and it happened right after my period, hence not in the fertile window. Plus, it takes a while to implant, so it can't be pregnancy. I felt fine before this intercourse. What could it be? Could it have triggered something? aside from that I feel fine. My genital area looks as usual too. Any experiences similar to this? Suggestions?

  • How to forget someone who changed?

    Hi. I have a problem.

5 years ago I fell in love. Deeply. He was my dream. He was kind, respectful, motivated, happy, funny, and very sweet. He was my world and I fell for him badly. He worked a low paying job at a school working with middle school kids and had a simple car and a flip phone and went to a junior college to get his AA degree and transfer.

Then he got married and divorced shortly. And that's hen he really changed. I guess she mistreated him and used him. She didn't work for some time to get her education and once she did it, she dumped him and went off with someone else whom she truly liked. And took everything away too. A really nice car and all that stuff.

Then he moved in with a roommate for some time and during this time he was so quiet and so introverted like he has never been before. I figured that he needs some time. I gave him time.

Then I started learning his behaviors: he began to want to just use women, play around, switched his job to a much higher paying one, quit school, got a Lexus, got a smartphone, ate put at expensive places, moved out on his own, calculated everything... Every penny, and would only spend on himself. Only thinking what's best for him. And I was stunned by that huge change.

Now I out of love. He is no longer in my mind. I hate his disrespect and self centerness.

But I have a problem: I can't stop thinking about the "old" precious person that he used to be. He is on my mind all the time. I tried everything: cutting contact for months, meeting someone else, pursuading myself that he no longer exists, that the young person is dead and was replaced by who he is now. Nothing works. I wanna run to the past and find him. Or run and find someone similar to him now. And I can't. How do I stop these feelings? What do I do?

I do have a busy life of my own and do plenty to keep me occupied but I do thinking about that old person a lot... I told myself 100 yimesthayhes fine and I've accepted that, but can't seem to forget.

  • IPhone VS Vivid android ?

    Hello!

I'm getting a new phone! Woohoo!

I have an iphone 3gs right now and have been with it for the last 2 years- no complaints. However, I went into the store and instead of going to get the iPhone 4s, I started playing with the vivid android 4g. And loved it!!

QUESTION: my iPhone locks (ever time I wake it up, it has a lock code that only I know and can unlock). Does the vivid 4g have the same feature? There are some people who like to look at my messages... And I'm not too happy about them spying so that's why I put a lock on my phone.

Overall vivid 4g ratings? Any experiences? Suggestions? Should i take it? Or take the iPhone 4 instead?

  • What's a good way to reward an achievement?

Hi. So it's Lent right now. I have been fasting since the first day of lent til now. I chose to give up meat (fish, meat, chicken, seafood, anything animal). So... It will be over in 2 weeks! I'm almost there!! I haven't been eating the "prohibitted" foods since February 28. (orthodox lent).

This is the first year I do this and hopefully I make it through the whole Lent. If I do, I want to do somethin nice and celebrate my 7-week endurance.

    Any ideas? Recipes maybe?

    Thanks.

  • Why would a 3 year old need an ipad?

Hi. I have a friend who just bought his 3 year old son an ipad.

Why? Was that a good idea in your opinion?is that a waste of money? Should 3 year olds even have these things?

He says the boy loves it. Maybe, but why does he need it right now? What's the benefit? I don't see the use of this...

Maybe I'm crazy, but I would never buy my child something like this. I think this is an age where they should have more books and things like that. Explore libraries and all that... Not tech toys. Just my opinions.

    Thoughts on this?

  • How to remove frozen ice from freezer?

By reaching into the freezer and taking it out! Haha!! Jk.

    The real thing:

So I'm stupid. I filled a plastic bag with water and put it on a foil sheet into the freezer to freeze over night (was going to take that big ice package with me because I don't have ice packs to keep food cold for a few hours). Anyway, it got stuck to the freezer. Not a shelf that I can take out but the freezer itself. So I took everything out and am now defrosting the whole fridge. I unplugged it a few minutes ago.

    Is this acceptable? Any suggestions?

  • My floor is flooded with water. Help!!!?

Hi. All the sudden I come home and find a huge puddle of water on the floor. It's clear: no mud or anything. Just plain water. Perfectly clear. So there's about 1/4 of water and it's spreading so I start taking it out with a broom. Then I wait about 10 min and all of it is back (more water). I live on the first floor in an apartment where there are no plumbing problems, as the landlord had said. It's now been 24 hours and I drive the water out every 6 hours. I bought kitty litter to absorb it which is working but only for a while. Then the water overflows from the litter and create puddles.

    1. Where is this water coming from?

    2. How do I get rid of it? It's all over my floor!

    3. How do I fix this problem?

    4. Is this because of rain? Are there pipes under floors that need to prevent this from happening and they didn't this time?

    Thank you!

  • Worried about fibre loss from tampon?

Hi. Today I put in a tampon (closer to end of period). Took it out after 6 hours and noticed that it all came our expect the little pieces of fibres on top. It's like it tried to open up and when I took it out, it left a few fibres inside I guess, since when I took it out I see there are little fibres going toward the top (and more that have been left inside?)

Question: I obviously can't get them out. It's not a part of a tampon... Just small little thin lining thingies... What do I do?

    Thank you.

  • Is it appropriate for a woman to ask a man out?
