The laser is not an option. My tattoo is small and almost all green and blue, it would take many many treatments for my tattoo to react if it did at all. I do not have the time or money for this. No place I have called does any other forms of tattoo removal besides laser. Would a regular surgon do an excision? How could I find someone that does? I am not concerned by the scarring and I honestly think it would be the best method for me.

I see a lot of questions about tattoo removal and such, and these poor people get so many negative answers about how they shouldn't have been so stupid, it's thier fault, blah blah blah. I have a small tattoo that didn't turn out how I would have liked, and I plan on lasering it at least a couple of times to get something else, or maybe having it removed completely. So I am impulsive. I know this, and I am okay with it. I am not broken up about it, or the tattoo, its just how I am. Why are anti-tattoo folks so concerned with us and our "mistakes"? Just be cool, and live your life. Don't you think?

I got this tattoo below my ear, and its mostly dark greens and blues. I don't like at all how it turned out and I am really regretting it. I would love to get something else. I would actually love to get a tattoo with lighter color but I know that isn't possible. the problem is, I dont want this big bulky black thing on my neck like that, I want it to stay small and be somewhat feminine. How can I do this? Please no lectures, I know I need to work on my impulsiveness :)

What would happen if I would like to submit a short story for publication to a literary magazine, but it was part of an idea for a longer book of stories that I plan on writing later? If it were to be published, that magazine would have first rights to my story, so would I still be able to use it in my book later on? Thanks!

I am interested in learning about the jobs at the Everglades in Florida. I am in Michigan right now, and the website is very vague. I would love to volunteer, but I am also looking for something that pays. I will have an environmental studies minor by the time I am ready to move, but that is about it as far as things that could help me find a job within the park. I plan on visiting this coming summer, but does anyone have any information in the mean time? Thanks!

I am going to honolulu soon, for about 10 days. I know it is very touristy but my biggest interest is the nature. I have heard that the island of Kauai is great for this, but am I going to be able to get some great nature experiences when I go to Oahu? I plan on finding some hiking trails or tours, and try to experience the truest sense of Hawaii even though I am going to be the farthest from it!

I absolutely love the feel and atmosphere of a tattoo parlor. I plan on going to cosmetology school, try to make it as a writer, do a bunch of other things, but I really would like the tattoo/peirced world to be part of my own. I don't have the talent to be an artist, and wouldn't want to be a peircer, so do parlors ever hire just like a reseptionist kind of person? What other jobs in that field might there be? Thanks!

I live in Michigan right now, I have all my life, and I will be graduating from college in a year. Winter, and cold weather in general completely depresses me, it always has, and I know that I belong in an area that is going to be warm all year long. I have dreamt of such places as Hawaii of course, but all I hear is how expensive it is and the race issues going on there. My major is creative writing, and my minor is environmental studies...so no help there. I want to go to cosmetology school maybe, but that wont make much money either. Wherever I look, it seems it will be too expensive for me. I wish of being by the ocean, beaches, somewhere liberal and where the people are kind. I know this is a lot to ask, as most of us cant afford this...but isn't there any hope? I can not stay here, I feel restless and trapped, and I have to get out. Any suggestions on places would be very helpful, thanks.

My tat is nearing the end of its healing, and I lost some color because of how much I have to move around when I work. My artist said he will take a look at it and touch it up for free, but should I tip him for it? Thanks!

I have been sick for about a month now, mostly a cough that wont go away and is really bad in the mornings and at night. She tells me it's just a cold (I get angry for going to the doctor for just that, because I had to pay and I don't have insurance) she gives me some decongestant and sends me on my way. I never have had a cold for more than 4 days, and on top of that I barely ever develop a cough, and that has been the basis of this sickness. On top of it all, her wonderful decongestant isn't working at all, nothing does. I have been taking it for 5 days. What should I do, is there ANYTHING I can do to either get my money back or see another doctor at the same clinic for free? I am just a poor college student and I feel like this cough is never going to go away unless I get the right answers. Thanks...

I got my second tattoo 2 days ago, and ever since I washed it for the first time the colors seem to be smearing on one another. My blue stars have a little orange on them, and my orange, red and yellow sun has a little black in it (from the outline)...its just looking dull and smeary...will this just go away after healing? Or did I mess it up somehow?

For the past few days, our cat has become sick, she is VERY lathargic, only sleeping, or laying down, seems very weak when she does try to walk around, and looks sick just by the look of her face. We don't think she is eating as much, although we haven't been home much and we have another cat, so it's hard to tell. She hasn't thrown up, and there are no other symptoms. What could be going on, someone who has real experience or is a vet please! Thanks!

I have had my labret peirced for over two years now, and just lately I have noticed that area, the bottom of my teeth mainly, kind of hurting. Could the metal already be wearing away at my teeth? What can I do, do I have to take it out? Can I put in a plastic one or is this not good for it? (my peircing never really healed, as in I can't take it out, and it still gets infected occasionally). If I have to take it out, does anyone have any suggestions of other cool face peircings I could get? I already have my eyebrow done, but people think I look good with peircings, as do I ;)... so I would love to get one to replace it if I had to take it out. Thanks!

Can you recommend a surfing school? My friend and I are going to Waikiki for spring break, and she has her heart set on taking some surfing lessons, so I thought I would get her some reservations for some lessons as a christmas present. Any specific ones that are best?

I just started working out again, and bought a new elliptical. I am not overweight at all, just out of shape, and my knees are buckling constantly during my workout. They never buckle at the same time, so I can always catch myself before falling, but i'm still nervous. Does anyone know why this is, just weak knees?

If I were to move to Hawaii in a year to two..what would be the best city? I need to know of the best areas to check out before I even think about it. (I am also looking into other parts of the US)

Sometimes my legs will get really achey. It hurts the most when I am just sitting, and it helps when I walk, or move my legs a lot. It feels kind of like body aches when you have a cold, but thats never the case, and its only in my legs. Does anyone know what this is? I am sitting at work right now, and my legs are very achey, and I would like to know how to prevent this.

I have a crush on someone....I feel like I am 14 or something, (i'm 21) and I don't know how to go about it. I was in a long term relationship that ended about 2 months ago. I really think this guy is attractive and nice, and I know he's single. (myspace) But, I don't know him, he just works at this video store I go to all the time. I don't even know how to go about starting a convo with him, that seems akward! And, I am too shy-ish to just ask him straight out! Does anyone have any unique ideas? Thanks!

Isn't that weird? They always leave that space after the com like they wouldnt be allowed to send it otherwise. Is anybody getting these, and how do I stop it?
