I have been considering on getting a tattoo for awhile now and am wanting to get one soon. I'm still not entirely sure yet, but I want to ask these questions for more information.

1. Do you have to be 18 to get one? I'm already 17 now, but it'd be nice to get it sooner if I'm 150% sure I really want one.

2. Will jobs nowadays still hire people with tattoos? If I were to get it on my forearm or shoulder would they still decline me?

3. Can I make a design I prefer and have meaning to me and have the artist copy it?

4. What is the general price range for one small-medium size tattoo?

So, is there anyway I can sleep? Nothing is on my mind and I haven't eaten, excersized, or any other stuff that's supposed to keep you awake. I just took a very long nap earlier today that has caused me to not be tired, and I gotta wake up early tomorrow. I have spirit week at my school and I gotta dress up as an old man. Any help? I tried wearing a peacoat with some hat, but I just look like a paper boy. I would also draw wrinkles on my face, but this is kinda hard. So if anyone can help me it would be appreciated.

My teacher who lived near me had moved to a different state and now there is not teacher nearby (within driving distance) available where I live. I'm wanting to plan on doing music in the future (and according to my former teacher I am capable to do it at my level, even with the small amount of private teaching. But it is crucial that I need to find another teacher ASAP). The only option I can think of is online lessons (most likely with Ms. Perlove), since the nearest teacher I can find is about 1 1/2 away, and I'm a Junior in high school and not able to drive yet.

Hi guys, I'm just wandering if there is anyway of dying black hair temporarily blue? It's for a costume that we need to wear for a friend's party and I wanna try to do that...but I heard in order to dye black hair, you need to bleach it (which I really don't wanna do). So, would it be okay if I can get that temporary blue hair dye from Hot Topic or something (which is electric blue) and hope that it will show in my hair as a darker blue? Since I'm just trying to achieve a darker blue color.

Hi guys, so I've been noticing this happening a lot lately and idk why, but it seems like I always get depressed at night. I really don't know, I haven't experienced anything tragic at all (i.e. death of a friend or family, no bullying, no trauma). I just want someone's opinion on what this could be or something.

I wanna say it's that I don't really share anything with anybody (even to my parents), since I don't really want to share anything with anybody. I'm guessing this would be a bad thing? Also, it has been like this throughout the passed year or so.

Also to clarify, it's not the depression where I want to kill myself and think I'm worthless; but I have some type of depression where all this worst case scenarios occur in my head (friend of mine dies or watching someone kill someone) <---I don't think that's normal and idk why that happens so...can somebody help please?

So we were assigned a math project where we choose stocks...so we can choose 5-10 stocks. We have a budget of $50,000 and we need to spend at least $5000 dollars on each stock. The question is, what do I need to look for in a stock? Where do I look to know how much is a stock? Also, on yahoo.finance.com I see all these words like last trade, P/E, and all that stuff what does all that mean?

How would you find Sn for a geometric series if a1 or r is not given?

I tried using the equation an=a1 x r^n-1 but that would work...so how would I start this problem if someone could help? You don't need to give me the answer just what I would have to do to start it.

Is it okay if I do that? I won't take any of the old gravel out I'll just put both the substrate and the new gravel on top of it. My reason for this is I want to add nicer plants that do need a substrate in my aquarium, my lighting is enough for medium light plants so yeah. So advice for this would be nice.

My tank is already established with fish.

Hi people, so I finally got a 30 gallon tank for my small fish and moved them out. Now that I have a lot of room in my big tank (62X18X23 I think it was 85 gallons) I was considering in getting a frontosa cichlid. What I'm worried about is this...so right now in my tank I have 1xBlack ghost knife, 2xAngelfish, 1xLeopard Ctenopoma, 1xFeatherfin Catfish. I checked on AqAdvisor and it didn't say anything about fights between fish, which I think is fine but there is a pH difference between them. However, the pH in my tank has been 7.7 and all my other fish has been fine and the frontosa needs a pH of at least 7.8, so I'm assuming I'm fine. I just want some of your opinions about getting a frontosa? I would like one, but I don't want to problems to happen.

I would like to know ASAP, because my lfs is having a big fat Christmas sale(well winter sale) and they reduced the prices on almost every fish in the store, and right now frontosa is only $9.99 right now so yeah.

Hi, another fish question. So lately in the past couple of weeks my two dalmation platies have been getting less active. The water parameters are fine, and the other fish are fine(for those who have seen my last question, my red platy is now doing fine it's peel is starting to heal up). It's just with my two platies it seems like their times are almost up, especially with the male he's been lying down on the ground. Whenever I walk by to check up on him he tries to swim up(maybe he wants me to think he's fine or something). But I got them like 5 months ago? And I'm pretty sure that they were old already since they were both and inch and a half when I got them. So, I just want to make sure that these fish are just being inactive because of old age? Or it's not some disease they are prone to get and I'm unaware of it? And if they both seem to get to the point where they can't take care of themselves anymore should I do something? Or just leave them alone until they die? Cause I don't want to do something inhumane, Thank you!

Note: I forgot to explain about the female platy, she isn't lying down on the ground like the male, but she has been staying in the back of the tank at the top, being inactive. They both are alive, but I think they are just getting old.

I noticed this today with one of my platy's and it looks like the top of it's head is peeling off? From the top of it's head you'll be able to see a dot, and you can see the scale loosely hanging from it. I checked the water chemistry and everything is normal, no ammonia, nitrate, and little nitrite. If this is some disease, will it pass on to other fish(I'm worried that it will pass on to my ghost knife, which I really don't want to lose).

I want to say that the peeling may be caused by aggressive-ness between it's other tank mates, since they're territorial. If that's the case I want to say that the culprits are the angelfish, I can't move any fish out since I don't have any other tank, and I had the tank for a couple months now.

1. What are some plants easy to take care of, but require low light. I heard about crypts and I like the look of them, but I read from multiple sources and some say they should be in high light, and the other half it should be in low light. I don't have a problem with lighting since I have a tank where only one side is bright enough to have plants with high light requirements and then fades to a really dim light to the tank.

2. If I want to keep an Anacharis plant. One can I keep it in either bright or low light? And If I want to plant it, what can I use to anchor it down to prevent it from floating. And if I want it to float what can I do to prevent it from being pushed to the bottom due to my bio wheel filter?

3. I don't have a substrate for my plants, just plain gravel. Is that bad for the plants?(right now I have on amazon sword, java fern, anubias, and a couple of wisteria) and none of those had died at all. Since I don't have substrate, I use those tablets for fertilizing my plants every month, is that okay?

Hi everyone, so we need to make a picture using conic sections as a project and I want to know...if there is anyway to find the equation of a parabola if you ONLY have the vertex? We need to find the focus of all parabolas that is in our picture, but I can find that out IF I can find the equation. If someone can help me I would gladly appreciate it.

Hi guys so when solving with these types of equations there are times you can ONLY use the substitution method(depending on the equation) I think I made an error in this problem cause I never used the substitution method before to solve a system of equations can someone help please?

Here's the problem and my work that I did:

>x=2(y+1)^2-6 <---substitution can only be used since powers are different right?

x+y=3

>2(y+1)^2-6+y=3 <---plugged in for 'x'

>2(y^2+2y+1)-6+y=3

>2y^2+4y-4+y=3

>2y^2+5y=7

This is as far as I got I know I can take out a 'y' for the last step but aren't I supposed to make the constant on the right of the equation "0"??? Please help thanks!

So all my friends says my voice sounds gay, but I took it as a joke. But now their parents start to think I'm gay cause my voice sounds gay. I mean I'm 15 and I'm short and I can't help it since my voice is naturally high pitched. So...can anyone help me try to change it. It really discourages me how people think this and all their parents don't like me cause they think I'm "gay." Thanks.

This may be weird and it may not be true but, I've heard somewhere that the color of your snot could be some type of indicator if your sick or not. Like I think they said if it's clear you just have allergies if it's yellow your getting sick, if it's green you're sick. Sorry if this is gross but I wanna know if this is true or not. Thanks!
