  • Air Guard and then Air Force?

Can I enlist in the Air Guard and go to college and then once I get out of college enlist in the Air Force? And if I do that can I still join the Air Force as an officer?

  • College or Air Force First?

I've decided I want to join the Air Force and become a vehicle mechanic after I graduate and I also decided I want to go to college and get a degree in agronomy at SDSU. What I can't decide is if I want to go to college first or join the Air Force. I really don't want to put off college because I'm worried I won't want to do it after 4 years in the military and I think it'd be more fun right after high school. But I'm worried about finances I'm sure I'll be able to pay for college through student loans but it'd be a lot easier to just have the military pay for it. I also have a girlfriend who I'd like to spend a lot more time with before I join the Air Force. What should I do first? And please don't mention the ROTC because I don't think I'm good enough to get it.

  • Paying for College through the Air Force?

I've been planning on joining the Air Force and going to college after high school. I've decided I'd like to go to college first because I think if I put it off until after the Air Force I won't want to go and end up dropping out. The only problem with going to college first is I don't know how I'll pay for it. So I was wondering if there's any ways I could pay off student loans and such through the Air Force? I've read about the College Loan Repayment Program but I think it only pays $10,000 dollars. Is this true? And is there a way I could use the GI Bill to pay for it? And don't mention the ROTC, I doubt I'd be able to get it due to my low grades and lack of ECs. Thanks in advance.

  • Air Force ROTC Chances?

I'm a junior in high school and am interested in the Air Force but I think I want to do college first. I've looked into the AFROTC and it looks really promising but my grades aren't the best. I want to know if I have a decent chance of getting into or not. My cumulative GPA is only 2.3 (I was really slacking my freshman and sophomore year), I'm 40 out of 67 in my class, I'm in track at the moment and next year I plan on playing football, track, and baseball, I've never been in any trouble with the law besides one speeding ticket for going 5 mph over, I got 74 on my ASVAB, and haven't taken any college entrance exams yet. I'm guessing my chances are pretty low but I'd like to hear a little feedback. Thanks in advance.

  • How to figure out your wireless router's username and password?

I need to figure out the username and password for my wireless router. On my old router they were on the back, but not on my new one. I need to change some stuff on it, cause I'm trying to get it to work for my Xbox.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Xbox Live - Wirless Router?

Alright, I just bought an Xbox and wanted to get Xbox live. The problem is that my modem is downstairs while my Xbox is upstairs. Right now I have a wireless router connected to my modem for my laptop. I'm using an older router I had laying around for my Xbox. I have the Ethernet cord running from the internet jack on the xbox to the top jack on my router (sorry, I'm not a computer guy at all so I don't know all the lingo and such). I'm looking at the lights on the router right now and the wireless light is on, so I'm guessing that means it's getting a signal, but when I test my Xbox Live connection it says Network Adapter is wired, but the IP Address failed. What am I doing wrong?

Here's what the back of the upstairs router says:

    Netgear 54 Mbps Wirless Router.

I'm not sure if that helps or not.

Sorry for the lengthy question and thanks in advance.

  • Connecting to Xbox Live with a wireless router?

Alright so, I just bought an xbox and want to get xbox live. There's no way to run an ethernet cord from my modem to my xbox, but I have a wirless router hooked up to get internet on my laptop. I figured I could use my old wireless router to hook it up to my xbox. My question is will it work and how do I set it up?

I'm not a computer guy at all. I'm looking at the wireless router right now and here's what it says on the back.

    Netgear

    54 Mbps Wireless Router WGR614 v5

The wireless router hooked up to the internet for my laptop just says Wireless-B Broadband router.

    Thanks in advance

  • Xbox 360 - Wirless Router - Xbox Live?

Sorry, wasn't sure what to title it ^^

I'm getting an Xbox this weekend and am going to make the most out of the month of free Xbox Live Gold. My question is, can I plug an Xbox straight to a wireless router I used to use for my computer. I got another wireless router, so now I have two. So will the router I plug into the Xbox receive the signal from my second router, that's hooked up to my modem? Will it work to get on Xbox Live?

    Thanks in advance.

  • I need help quick! Programming new dish remote?

I busted my dish remote, but luckily I have another one that I picked up at a garage sale. The extra remote is newer than the dish I'm using and I'm not sure if that'll be a problem. How do I get the new remote to work?

  • How to talk to girls?

I'm 16 and am going into my junior year. I've got a date for homecoming in years past, but haven't had a girlfriend since 7th grade. Ever since I got into high school I've become so shy around girls. I always feel like she's too good for me and stuff like that and I always run out of stuff to say. I need help please.

  • Question About Dogs' Dreams?

Okay, I've been wondering for this for awhile. I've accepted the fact that dogs dream when they're sleeping, but what I want to know is if they're smart enough to realize that it was a dream? Or do they just wake up and think "what happened to that huge bone I was just chewing on?"

  • Father's Day Gift Suggestion?

I need help picking out a Father's Day gift. I've got about $40 to spend.

Here's some things about my dad:

    - Likes outdoors

    - Big on tools (but he has quite a tool collection already)

    - We have a Polaris Ranger which he really likes, so accessories for that would be good.

    - He hunts

    - Does a little fishing, but no too much

    - He's a farmer

Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

  • What to use when fishing?

Ok, I have a big question. My favorite fishing spot is McCook Lake. It's an oxbow lake formed from the Missouri river. I fish at the end of the lake. I need some help. I have a hard time getting fish to bite, so if anyone can help me out that'd be awesome. He's what the fishing spot is like:

    - There's a pipe where the river water comes into lake. The water's moving pretty fast out of there and cause a lot of turbulence. I'm hoping the fish are used to it and maybe it's helping because it's putting oxygen into the water.

    - 5-8 feet depth

    - Lot's of vegitation on the shores, but the lake bottom is pretty barren.

    - Rocks by the pipe and mud further away.

    - Know species of fish there are carp, channel and flathead catfish, largemouth and white bass, walleye, and crappie.

I need some tips to help catch walleye, catfish, and largemouths. I fish from the shore only.

  • 16 year old Male Diet?

Hey, I'm 16 years old, 5'11 and around 210 pounds. I'm guessing most of the weight is fat because I'm only able to bench about 132 lbs or so. I'm looking to lose some weight and get fit for football in the fall. I'm also going to start lifting four days a week (Mon-Thur because those are the only days the school's weight room is open), so I need a diet that'll give me protein and energy. Also, since I'm 16 I can't really cook big meals or anything so please take that into account. If someone could also give me a good workout that'd be awesome. I'm looking for a good mix between heavy lifting and cardio. Thank you.

  • Small Red Bumps On My Arms?

I have a bunch of little red bumps on my upper arms. I've had them for years. They don't hurt or itch. The skin between the bumps isn't dry or anything. There's about 50+ bumps on each arm. I've been told it's heat rash, but they've never gone away or itch. They used to get less noticable in the winter, but now they're the same year round. Can someone please tell me what they are?

  • How to get rid of ants?

I live out in the country and I have a big bug problem. Right now, my kitchen is overrun with ants. There's a bunch with wings that are just everywhere and a few without wings which are sticking close to the walls. I live in an old house and there's plenty of ways for bugs to get inside, and there's nothing I can do to stop it really. What can I do? If I do have to resort to paying an exterimanator, what is the average cost? Btw, I live in SE South Dakota.
