As the title says 3 peacocks dead each one day. 

 I have a 60-gallon tank, 2 60 gallon sponge filters with aerators and an electric heater thats set to 78-80.

2 of my peacocks did a swim to the top popped out the water a little and wound up on their sides to die inside of the tank.

The other one died when I wasn't watching it today. I tried feeding them bloodworms but only 2 of the peacocks ate and only on their first days in the tank.this is because one of the three was near death coming out of the bag lying on its side before releasing it in the tank.

The store I bought them from uses copper in their water and I was told to drain off all that water before pouring it into my tank which i did. 

I tried doing a water change gravel vac and adding some aquarium salt and de-chlorinator and the last fish still died... Please note that the one that died today only hung out at the bottom of the tank hiding.

is there something going on with the copper water to normal water transfer cuz im like wtf. I've never had 3 fish die on me this fast. I'm shocked because the color they had in the store was much duller before coming into my tank... maybe it was just the black gravel substrate. 

I'm going to get a water check later today at my LPS and see what I come up with because I don't want this to keep happening if it's my water. Any ideas as to what might be going on in my tank?

Hi I got my Dempsey many months ago. My tank is over 1 year old and has 2 oscars 2 plecos( One of the plecos is a bristle nose) . A blue gil( wild caught from a lake) and a bichir.

Today I looked at my larger Dempsey and I noticed two bumps/lumps I'd assume kinda near his temples if you were to look at his face like a humans.

I'm not sure what it is and I'm hoping it's not because it's sick. Any ideas?

I'm 34 and the only person I actually call friend is my wife... I've met many aquaintences in my time but I dont have that person outside of family to call friend. A part of me likes the drama free side of it but when I sit and think about having a friend it's kind of nice. I have social anxiety time to time. New places and faces can be scary to me. I have Adult ADD(causes focusing issues). But outside of that I feel im a nice, kind, and sweet person.

I dunno tell me we're you like me at one point? Did you make a friend? How did you meet them? How do you feel now?

I took out a loan through my bank to purchase a vehicle for me and my family. We are currently going into year 2 of the payments. We still owe a good bit on the loan and found out today that the engine has gone bad on the vehicle.Specifically 2 of the cylinders went bad. The warranty we purchased on the vehicle expired about 1k miles ago. Now we honestly dont know what to do. We dont know who to call. Are we stuck paying this loan off and having to fix this.vehicle? Any help would greatly be appreciated

Ok i just recently found out when i did a tune up on my vehicle about spark plugs having a firing order. I had previously taken the vehicle to a mechanic due to the car having idling issues. The entire air intake system was replaced and cleaned very well before replacing. After bringing it back seemed the problem went away.

The car was sounding like a small misfire so i went ahead and replaced the spark plug wires as they were lookin old. I also did the spark plugs as well.

When i put the newer spark plug wires in the car sounded funny so i went ahead and turned it off. This morning i went outside and using a diagram put the spark plug wires in the proper firing order. The car cranks strong but it wont start.

What should i do at this point the car cranked up yesterday.

Also i noticed the check engine light flashes when trying to start the car up and i read that could be a misfiring issue. I am sure i have the wires in correctly and checked multiple times. Help plz.

I am curious to know if what i am experiencing may be acid reflux, early signs of gerds,, or just simply a constant anxiety attack.

It sort of feels like something is wrong in the area of my stomach up to the sternum part of the digestive system.

I did research and some say its anxiety but i am on medication that is supposed to help with that. The medication is Bupropion an anti depressent. Some know it as Welbutrin... i think i spelled it right.

Ok to get a little more detailed these are some other things i am experiencing or at least have noticed:

Gassy ( more burps then anything)

Feels like my chest is full of phlegm so i cough or hack up some mucus because it just feels like i need to.

I feel pressure near the stomach area. Feels like large chunks of things are floating and spinning around in my stomach. Sometimes it feels a little stingy.

I did see my doctor about this issue and because i told them it felt like tightness in the chest they did an EKG and that came out fine.

Is anyone else experiencing this or similiar issues that can possibly tell me what you have been diagnosed with?

Having trouble getting some middle names that sound nice and flow nicely from the first name.

Me and my coworker work in a high dusting facility. He has a plastic eye and when too much dusting happens it irritates his eye and makes him less productive at work. We have tried using goggles but with the heat they just fog up.

I was thinking about an eye patch but i don t think that would work. Any one know of an item that would help here?

When i first bought them i tried pellets but noticed they wouldn't eat them so i tried giving them frozen blood worms. Instantly they went to town on those. I have recently noticed that their colors are starting to dim and i am assuming thats because of a high protein diet. What should i do now that they wont eat the pellets? Leave the pellets in the water until they start eating it or try something else?

I am looking to one day buy a Blue and Gold wing Macaw. I was curious to know for people that own them about how much a week/month you need to dish out on these fellas outside of any vet necessities.

It just keeps coming back from scrubbing it and i think i have enough room to stock one more fish.

Ok so i tried charging my Ac unit on my vehicle recently and was wondering why no refrigerant was going into it. So today i pulled off the 134 retrofit thinking maybe the schrader valve was no good and needed to be changed. Well i looked and noticed some black charcoal looking stuff stuffed into the old port. To make matters more fun underneath i saw it bubbling a little. When i say bubbling i mean i saw some of the refrigerant oil coming out very slowly.

So i looked at the high side port and that does not have a retrofit on it. So now i am like ok does this car have R22 in it or 134 and is it possible to salvage that port somehow without having to buy a brand new line.

Ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hello all today i noticed that my auratus cichlid is looking a little pale. Not as brilliantly yellow as it was before.

I have in the tank 3 different cichlids in a 23 gallon with decorations in it for hiding along with a huge rock in the middle with cut outs for hiding on the inside.

Ok now to explain activity in the tank. When i originally got the fish i started off with a Mbuna and the Auratus. The next day i added a blue johanni. Each day i noticed that the mbuna and auratus would pick on the johanni that was up until i started putting decor in the tank. the first item in the tank was the rock. it stands tall and has a few openings in it. The mbuna took over the rock and still the auratus picked on the johanni. Then a few days later i got some taller fake plants in and put 2 in a corner where the johanni chills out and 2 on the other corner of the tank. Since i put those plants in i noticed that the johanni now gets very territorial and chases the mbuna away and the auratus. So today i looked in the tank and saw the auratus looking a little pale. So i am a little worried hoping she is not sick (Auratus yellow with black stripe i believe i read thats a female). Is she sick or is this a display of her loosing dominance in the tank.

the condensing unit outside says R410A.

The evaporator coil says R-22 on it.

Is this why my evaporator coil is constantly freezing?

My grandmother has been diagnosed with a Hiatus hernia. Lately she has been having alot of pain due to the stomach being pushed up the esophagus. She has been to the hospital a few times already. Doctors have told us what she has requires surgery and that she is too old to receive it. So they just gave her pain meds. Seems to not be working very well.

I am trying to find out if there is something that she can do now to help ease her pain. I am really hoping someone knows something. Thanks for taking the time to read and answer.

My dog is a little over 1 yr old now. She is a boxer mix. She is very well behaved when we are home. When we leave to go places for not even an hour we let her loose in the house. Lately she has been chewing and breaking things. What i find strange about it is she only chooses one item each time. The first time it was my daughters pen. The second time now its a cable remote. There are multiple things she could have chewed on I.E her toys but she chooses to destroy other things.

So i am trying to figure this out is it anxiety or is she just being spiteful?

Ok i have a split system with an all electric heater. I noticed my house inside wasn't cooling well. I went outside and put my hand over the fan and the air felt like the air outside. So i am assuming its a low charge situation.

I also checked the big line for frosting and its not frosted but i did notice water leaking from above. The line is cold to touch but the liquid line is not hot at all.

The condenser fan is making a sound like its unbalanced and nicking something. but the air flow coming from it seems alright. air is blowing straight up not to the side. as if the units outside is dirty

Now i wasnt sure if the liquid line was supposed to be cool or not because of the all electric heater but what do you think is the problem.

I am guessing low charge or Compressor issue.

What would be your guess?

Ok so today i was cleaning my pool and i noticed an orange dot on the pool. I was like oh its just one of those little red bugs. I looked really close at it and behold it was a spider. I have never seen a bright orange spider before. It has no patterns just orange with its black eyes and looking really close it has a black dot on its butt. This thing is comparable in size to a crumb. Guessing its a baby spider but any ideas on what i have here?

Tried snapping a pic but its so small that when i try to take a pic of it it just shows up as a blur. any ideas or pictures for me to look at?

I am a 31yr old Male who has Anxiety,ADD, and does have depression time to time.

I can be forgetful at times and not on purpose

At my job I found out my coworker reported some items i forgot to do to my supervisor without telling me anything. I confronted her when she got in for her shift and asked why she didnt come to me and tell me that an area needed attention. She replied to me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable and told me she was tired of talking to me and that it seems i do better when the supervisor has to tell me things. I feel this to be untrue. She engaged me a little more after that telling me to come on as if she wanted me to fight back or say something. I kept my mouth shut and just walked away because i didnt want to say something that could make the situation any worse.

I didnt tell my supervisor about this at all.

Some little details are my co worker has been working there for quite a while and i am still sort of a fresh face there. She rubs off to me as a person who might bend the truth to keep her job. She is well known and respected as a worker there.

What should i do? How do i approach this situation properly without jeopardizing my own job.

I would try talking to her again but being it has gone this far i fear we can't talk like we used to anymore.

When using wireless with the router i get .95 max mbs

When using the ethernet cable through the router i get 28.9mbs

Before i reset my router to factory default it was giving about 10-15mbs on wireless.

Is there anything on the router that i can change to get more juice out of it?
