I need an idea for "Couples Hobbies" that aren't "inappropriate"?

...my husband and I have 3 children and by the end of the day, we're so over it all, we really have nothing to talk about...and frankly, we're clueless. I need some really good ideas! I am SO BORED with my life! We love each other - but we're like, bored.

Update:

The "inappropriate" is not a problem...that's why we need something different...

It may sound corny, but how about Ballroom Dancing classes? My wife and I have talked about possibly starting those, or getting involved with a wine-tasting class. Who knows, if you have enough wine maybe some of the inappropriateness will pop-up.

Indoor - pina coladas and the board game "settlers of Catan" make a good combination. Settlers is a board game that both guys and girls can seem to enjoy equally.

Exercising together is good for the obvious reasons, plus it enhances and often leads to "inappropriate" hobbies as you call them.

Getting outdoors is very good. Evening walks on a daily basis, or hikes in the woods or mountains or whatever you have near by are excellent because they're healthy, fun and can be scaled up anywhere from a short hike to a multi day backpacking trip.

    Good luck!

There are a million possibilities. Get a sitter so the two of you can take a gourmet cooking class together. Start bike riding or hiking together. Anything really. What you need is a date night that is just for the two of you to go out and spend time together without the kids. You need to reconnect and explore the world a little together, even if it's just taking a stroll in the park and getting some ice cream.

I see some good ideas all ready posted. I suggest Martial Arts. It is something you can do in all weather together and as the Kids get older you all can do it as a family thing. You be sure to have some time doing something together so in this hectic day you do not grow apart. Share a book and talk about it. Hike together. The list is endless don't quit til you find something that clicks.

Do you have date night with just the two of you? Do you have a family night. My hubby and I take our son to chucky cheese or putt putt for family day usually 2-3 a month. We also have date night 2-3 a month. We have friends that are couples and we have game night or movie night together. Nothing inappropriate. I also took one of hubbys hobbys and got more into sports. He loves nascar and football so now I have my own teams I like and fav players. We now have lots to talk about, who will win the race on sunday or what football team will get the most touchdowns. He also took a hobby I like and started shopping with me! Its great.

if you can, take a vacation together and try to work on the things that you used to do before the kids. Also, just try some new things, dance class, a bar, old friends, hell, who cares, life is going to throw u new exciting experiences.

I've heard that people outside of the U.S. read books. Fascinating.
