I was diagnosed with ADHDPI in first grade, and took ritalin for three years. I got off of it because I had become addicted on it and went through withdrawal the summer after fourth grade. I developed coping mechanisms, but I am starting to not be able to cope with everything now that I am in college.

What I would like is information on how quickly adderall dependence develops in patients who are taking it to deal with actual ADHD and/or how frequently it has to be taken for dependence to develop; all I can find online are discussions about people who took it without having actual ADHD.

I want some way to relieve my ADHDPI symptoms, but I don't want to go through what I went through with Ritalin again.

I need to write a paper about a culture's mythology impacting its relations with outsiders from BC times, I can't use Native Americans from either continent, or the old testament jews.

I want some nice sunglasses, but not Oakley nice. I can't find any sunglasses that have that same sleek look that aren't just shady replicas. The styles I specifically like are Pit Boss, Flak Jacket, and Monster Dog. I don't want straight ripoffs, but I don't need the expensive materials and brand name. I just want some stylish polarized sunglasses for $50 or less.

All I remember at this point is that we got it on a vhs tape from the public library, that the two main characters were a teenaged boy and girl who started off somewhere normal and got transported almost immediately to the magical place where everything happened, and that there was a "good witch" type character who helped them, and in her house she had a bird puppet or multiple bird puppets, that were supposed to be real birds, that would burst out singing be kind to your well feathered friends at some trigger.

I have asperger's syndrome, and I would rather have it then be an NT. So why do NTs get to label me disabled, when I find them to be more impaired by their obsession with social nonsense then me to be by my lack of caring about social nonsense?

There is only one set of words that are specifically prohibited in the bible, and that is names for god being used in an improper manner.

So how come so many christians who say "oh my god" all the time think nothing of it, but get all upset if someone drops the f-bomb? Shouldn't they consider omg to be more offensive?

Consider that they were insurgents fighting against an established government, trying to overthrow that government, and used guerrilla tactics to an extent.

Please note that today's definition of terrorists is no longer limited to people attacking civilians.

This is equivalent to saying parasitic mass that grows inside someone's body is part of their body.

Please note that I am not trying to get arguments either for or against abortion, only about this particular justification for it.

What fundamentally determines if a creature is human is it's genetic code, which is generated at the moment of conception.

Life: The property or quality that distinguishes living organisms from dead organisms and inanimate matter, manifested in functions such as metabolism and growth.

A human fetus has a human genetic code and displays the functions of metabolism and growth, so this would make it a living human. So how is abortion not ending the life of a living human?

Just for the record I don't support abortion in any case except when the lives of both the mother and the child are in danger.

Please no random nonsense that doesn't actually address this question, or anti abortion responses, as that's not what I'm looking for.

How's that for the opening line of a novel?

I have the plot, characters, and setting, but I just can't present it well. The elements look impossible to mess up, but I can't put it into a form that's as good as the individual elements. Any advice, or free resources on how to write, or anything else that is helpful would be appreciated.

Some basic info is that it is Comedic-Action-Fantasy set in another world, there is no magic, the only humanoid race is humans, but these humans have physical abilities far superior to terrans, and the story is centered around several rival mercenary groups and their motives and impact on the world around them. The story basically starts out with one group being hired to destroy a city and be paid in sacred weapons, a very prominent and powerful merchant attempting to steal their payment and hiring a second group to protect him, and a third group waiting in a cave beneath the city to ambush the first group but unaware of the second group. It's a lot more complicated, but that's the skeletal frame.
