required to take a pre-employment medical exam and also a drug test for new job. While I dont do any types of drugs. Many of my friends do and I have been in the same room, when they are smoking marijuana. Can the drug test detect this? will i come up positive?

i have to take a pre employment medical examination. what does this mean? i have diabetes, does this mean that i will get denied for the job? the job offers full benefits at no cost to me.

I am asked to sit for a family who I used to regularly sit for. The family has three children, ages 11, 9, & 5 (kind of a handfull, dont really follow instructions, have to be firm.) They also have a nice large dog who would need to be fed and walked.

The parents are going away for a week and would need me to stay at their house M, T, W, T, F, & S and then they return on Sunday morning. They family usually pays $12.00 per hour.

I believe that I will have to take the children to school sometimes and other times carpool other children to school as well on some days.

On friday the kids will be at a family members house, so i will stay home with the dog.

they family only keep kosher in the house, and i dont eat kosher, and am not allowed to bring ANYTHING into the house as far as food goes.

on saturday, one kid will stay the night at another persons house, and two of the other kids will have friends over to stay the night.

I work at a relatively small company where all of my superiors are men. After having a well woman's exam i've learned that I have abnormal cell growth and may be endanger of having cervical cancer. I initially had to take off from work to have the well womans exam and then i had to take off a few hours on another day to have some blood work done. I have an appointment wednesday and need to tell my boss that i need the whole day off to have a pelvic ultrasound done and a copolscopy to have a part of my cervix removed...the last time i mentioned to my boss that i neeeded time off he kind of laughed and said, wow you sure do spend a lot of time at the docotor in a jokingly way... when i explained that the doctor needed me for a follow up he said it was fine.... the point is that without sharing too much information i would like for my boss to get the idea that i wouldnt be taking off from work if it were not important and i need a way to tell him that i need off.

I babysit for some orthodox jewish people and never realized how different my culture is from them. The family i sit for only keeps kosher in their house.

this family has two refrigerators and two dishwasher and two sinks. One for meat and the other for dairy and parve products.

the guy i work for said that he is not allowed to use the phone on saturday morning's why is this?

i pretty ignorant to their culture and find it pretty interesting. why do jewish people not eat meat and dairy together and what are some interesting facts about them?

i just went to the doctor on friday and learned that i have PCOS polycystic ovarian syndrome. i had some bloodwork done and just learned that my glucose levels are at 250 and that now i have to take a glucose tolerance test. does this mean that i have diabetes, what are the chances that i will be able to have children with all of these problems? i am 22, and am not trying to have children right now, but will be in a couple of years.

What is a fair price to charge a family to watch their dog.

I need to pick up the dog from the owners house and take it to my house about 40 miles away.

I will need to watch the dog for six days.

THe only problem is that you have to pay a deposit for pets at my apartment so if i get caught with the dog then i have to stay at the owner's house or go to the owners house each day.

I am 22 yrs old, 5'9" and weigh approx. 275 pounds. I am sexually active; however, i have always used a condom. EACH AND EVERY TIME with my husband. My period is irregular. Three years ago i went on Birth control to regulate period, i missed a couple days, and since my then boyfriend, now husband was overseas i didnt think i needed birth control since we were not sexually active.... and i stopped taking the birth control. For months i was on my period every day. At first it was very heavy, then i went lighter and lighter. It's been almost two years now and i stil havent gotten my period. I dont have insurance and planned parenthood only tells me to get on birthcontrol which i dont like, makes me feel weird.

Ok. So I have a little cousin who is 14 yrs old. Her parents have a kind of disfunctional relationship and hardly pay attention to her or their other kids. So about a couple weeks ago I notice that my cuz has a hickey on her neck, I told her that she is too young to be doing anything with a guy and that hickeys look gross & trashy. Her parents didn't do anything about it, so there wasnt too much i could do. So then the next day we go clothes shopping i notice that when she took off her shirt she had hickeys on her breasts! I was irrate! I asked if she was having sex and she said no. I asked who gave her the hickeys and she wouldnt say who, just some boy at school is what she said. So then i get a call from her school, because they couldnt locate her parents saying that she has missed the last week of school. Her parents have been taking her to the bus stop so they think she's on her way to school... but she told me that she was skipping school to have sex with her boyfriend.

My best friend, has been going through a lot lately! She does bartending on the side and found an ad on craigslist stating a need for a bartender to do private parties. So she calls the guy who's running the ad and discovers that this position is for a SWINGERS party. The guys mentions that he (also is the dj @ the party) usually has a "SHOW" with the bartender (whoever that is) & asked if she was interested. I was waiting for her to say Hell NO! & blow this guy off! She is considering it. The guy then said if you agree to it I will give you my share of the money, about $1500 to have a "show" in front of strangers. Then he said that if they are having a "SHOW" in front of a bunch of people that they should probably meet up and have that "SHOW" in private. What do I do? This is crazy, she's usually not like this! Is this just one of those, "OH, she's young & dumb" she'll learn from her mistakes? What should I do? She's also not telling any of our other friends or her mom.

Joined online community that set's up parents w/ sitters. Saw that 1 parent listed a job to sit for her kid on a sat @ 8 & we set up interview. The mom was going to check references & then let me know about job. I met her on a Thurs. The mother never called, i gave her my home & cell phone #'s, & she sent me an email on Friday @ 9, to ask my rate & said that she had left a message for one of my references, but STILL said nothing about a job. I was contacted by a different family, who asked me to babysit for them on sat & were paying me more $$,since i hadnt heard anything from the first family i decided to babysit for the 2nd. On Sat at 3 the 1st family still hadnt called me to schedule anything. Well while i am sitting for the 2nd family i get a call from the 1st family @ 9 calling to see where i was at, she was RUDE. I never heard the phone ring, it went straight to VM. Well this mom left me a nasty review on my profile & said that she wont recommend me to anyone.PLEASE HELP

I am in a situation where a potential employer has asked that before I begin working with their company, they are asking that I sign a form stating that I will not file for unemployment if i were to be laid off or if i am fired. Isnt that illegal?
