I was driving my newly purchased truck, and just to see how well it accelerated from a standing position, I shifted into drive and then stepped on the accelerator. I didn't quite floor it, and I know it isn't good for gas mileage, but I guess I didn't wait long enough for the transmission to engage, and I heard my transmission suddenly engage and my tires chirped a little. Question is, if it happened only once and the truck seems to be driving normally, is it possible that any damage occurred?

And is that grammatically correct for a sentence in latin? I am getting it tattooed on my body, and I got this phrase from someone who majored in latin, but you can never be too careful, so I am double checking.

I don't believe it is a fuel filter issue. It feels like something mechanical in the drive train somewhere. It almost feels like fuel is cutting out but i know what that feels like and it doesn't quite feel the same. I can shift fine, but while in 3rd and 4th tit seems to lose power and then gain it back quickly. It almost feels like when you let the clutch out really fast without enough rpm's, but not as extreme.

I have been wanting to do time lapse photography, and i was wondering if the Canon digital rebel xt can accept an AC power source. If not, are there adapters that take the place of the battery that is also plugged in?

While I was sleeping, someone put a camera flash up to my eye and pressed the button, can this damage my eye? my eye was closed obviously, but it did get really bright, like when the sun is bright when you have your eyes closed.

Doing a homework assignment in my history of design class, and have to write about six important pieces of art, two have to predate 1200 AD, two must be in the 1800's, and two after 1970. I am having trouble finding any art the really defines an era, and I want to write about something that really stands out in history. Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially for the pieces i need that predate 1200 AD. Please let me know if you know of any, send me links, or just the names of the art. thanks.

For example. I just bought a graphire4 pen tablet. I like it, but it doesn't have enough programmable buttons, just two. If i were to purchase some gamepad, something like the Zboard Fang, could i use that for hotkeys, and macros in a program like photoshop? For example, if i wanted to change between the clone tool and a brush tool, or bring up the color box quickly in photoshop, would a gamepad like that work? Or is there a product out there that would allow me to program macros and hotkeys? thanks for your help :)

As soon as i turn my modem on, i can go to my laptop and connect to my wireless modem. surfing the net is no problem. So i leave for a little while, and come back and my laptop still says it is connected, but i can't surf the web. so i disconnect, and try to reconnect, and i get the message "unable to connect". I try everything...i restart my wireless card, i restart my laptop, but the only thing that will make it work again is to go and restart the actiontec modem...

This exact thing happens many times a day. and it isn't the laptop, because my brother has the same problem with his laptop...also, we have two actiontec modems, same model. i swapped the modems, re-installed the broadband software, and it still happens...what is going on?

yeah, i have been searching for a good bowling ball. i have been bowling since i was about 8, however, it was very infrequently. it was usually concentrated to my summer vacations during the summer when i would bowl alot for about two weeks, then wait another year. i bowl more frequently now. i want to get more serious about it.

i average probably around a 150, but have my high score at 209 which i achieved twice in one night...which was really weird.

i imagine that if i had a more consistent bowling experience, i would be able to bowl better. using a different ball every time i go is a detriment. so what kind of ball should i buy? i have a medium to heavy hook and i am comfortable throwing a ball 15 to 16 lbs. i don't know how fast i throw it. that probably varies...

i just need a good ball, maybe with a late break for the pocket.

i have been having severe backpain, i have been taking 400 mg of ibuprofen every three hours today. so far, for the entire day, i have taken 2800 mg. i was instructed to do this by my mom, so i figured it would be ok. i feel fine, and am experiencing no trouble. i am 6'3" and weigh 220 lbs. should i call a doctor?

for example, if i want to set the program that always opens a jpeg, or one set to always open a rtf...any answers?

I have zsnes...i have a 3.06 ghz processor with 512 mb of ram. yet it still gets bogged down when i play gradius III when it gets really busy on the screen.

now i know my compy can handle alot, it doesn't make any sense at all. is it my emulator? is there some way to devote more processing power to the emulator?

what can i do to make it faster?
