I have been friends (with benefits) with a guy for about 8 years. We have not had sexual relations for 2 + years but still flirt, tease and have phone sex (we live in different states). On Sat I sent a text message to him and he answered with a "I can't do this anymore" I asked if it was because he found a gf. He said, they just broke up. I find it odd that he would still 'play' with me while having a gf and now telling me we can be friends but w/o benefits. I asked him today how he was doing and he said okay. Trying to let go of the situation not her. What does all of this mean?

We are hosting a charity golf tournament and I want to place memorable, useful items in the goodie bags. So far I have sunscreen, lip balm, snacks, sports water bottle, there will be a golf towel, baseball cap and shirt. Balls and tees as well. What else would be great? We have two raffles (one for a Mercedes and one for a Roadster Golf Cart). I was thinking of having a silent auction. Would that be too much? The website is www.kindfaitheducationfoundation.org.

I am part of a non-profit organization and we have a 2008 Mercedes Benz to auction off to raise funds for our cause (education/public schools). I have done the typical press releases in the local papers but I wanted to also do something online - I tried craiglist but you can't post raffles their site. Does anyone know where I can post information about this without getting flagged for deletion? My seven year old wants to be baptised in the Baptist church. I was wondering is it appropriate to have a reception afterward?

I have written the lyrics to some songs (mainly Contemporary Christian). How can I get them into the hands of singers or someone who may be of interests? I know how I would like the songs to sound but I am no singer.

In 2003 my purse was stolen and the theives had their way with a few credit cards and my checking accounts. All of my credit cards and one bank account waived all transactions I didn't create. One bank had a bad check and tried to collect from me, I sent them all documentation, police report, the closed account paperwork from my branch, etc. They said the check was written at Sprint (cell phone) and they verified I was a Sprint customer (I am) but the check was written for different service. Sprint even verified that it wasn't mine. Needless to say this bank turned my account over to ChexSystems and collections (now on my credit report). I have done everything I can possibly think of to have this removed/corrected. I have disputed this with the credit agencies and ChexSystems but it comes back as validated. How can I get this fixed short of hiring an attorney? The check & fees are for $354.00. I have no desire to pay for it since it isn't mine. What can I do?

I applied for rates with 3 banks to get the best offer for student loan consolidation. About 60 days passed and I received a payment booklet from BofA. They had paid my student loans and began charging me at a higher rate than I had before. I never agreed nor signed a promise to pay or anything - just filled out an online application. What do I do now? They are on my credit report, they are charging me, I have not paid them anything. I don't want to as Chase offered me a better deal. I asked BofA to provide me proof that I owe this debt yet they have not. Its for over $30k. Since I never signed anything (just did the online application) do I really owe them anything?

I make unique handmade baby items that I would like some of the baby stores in town to display and see if they can sale some. I'm not really sure as how to go about asking them. Any ideas on wording a letter, who to ask, etc?

I have a few collection accounts on my credit that I would like to get rid of. My ex husband was suppose to pay them and didn't now they are on my credit. I heard about people making settlement agreements with full deletion. What is this and how do you do it? Do you have sample letters? has anyone actually done this and did it work?

I want to buy a house so I am working on repairing my credit. Due to death of child's father and job lay off my credit suffered to the point where my scores were in the 300s. Over the last 1 1/2 years I have brought them up to very low 500s. The mortage company said I should get two credit cards and rebuild a payment history so my scores will increase. How can I get these cards if no one will give me credit? Are there any credit / department stores that give credit to very poor credit score holders? I don't want to pay horrible fees and such.

I bout a new truck in Feb 2007. I will be paying off the loan ($17,000) next week. What impact will this have on my credit report?

My 6 year old has eczema badly. We have tried the lotions, creams and some perscription meds. It seems to get worse as she gets older. Her skin is like a lizard but she screams when I try to put lotion on her. She says it burns/stings. Is there anything out there that actually works on eczema?

Each night for the last month I have awoken to a nose bleed. It isn't a heavy flow but it is bleeding nonetheless. I bought and have been using a humidifier but that doesn't seem to be working. What could be causing this? (Before anyone asks I do not and never have done any drugs.) How can I make it stop?

I currently walk to lose weight, which is not working. What are some exercises I can do to lose weight and tone up? I'm 213 pounds but should be about 140. I would like to try yoga but I can't do the moves.

I am 5'9" and weigh 213. I have tried every diet out there from Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, You on a Diet, Atkins, South Beach, you get the idea. No diet works. I starve, drink more water than a person should, exercise yet I remain at the same weight or gain more. My dr. tested my thyroid and said I was borderline w/a thyroid problem but didn't give me any medication. Does anyone know of anything I can do to loose weight? Someone suggested a gluten free diet. I know I really need to do something because I'm so heavy I can hardly breathe.

I am a single parent of a 10 year old boy, I also have 3 daughters. My son - since he was about 8 has stolen four things and has been caught by me. When I confront him about it he denys it or lies." He stole Pokemon cards from a store, a video game from the neighbor. I make him give them back and apologize. He spent the night with a friend and while there a group of boys broke into a trailer. My son stood outside as the other children stole things. I was furious - though he didn't take anything he was as guilty since he was there and didn't tell an adult what they did. He was grounded for 3 months and I took everything away from him -his room was emptied except for a bed. After good behavior he got it back (3 months). He was good for 4 months, until last night when he "accidently" took a video game and I learned that he and a neighbor made a fire in the other child's yard. What can I do with him? Its not like he needs stuff. If he wants something he can ask me for it. I need help!

I will be taking my kids to San Diego May 25 - 30. Can you recommend some great places to stay, visit and eat that wont break the bank. My kids are (17,13,10 and 6). I want to do something other than lay on the beach.

Every other month I load up my kids (17, 13, 10 and 6) into the SUV and head off somewhere for 5 days for mini vacations. We have done all the theme parks in California, beaches, zoos and aquariums. We live in Tucson, Arizona so we have traveled Arizona to death. Does anyone have any "off the beaten path" ideas of places I could take the kids (driving) that would be fun?
