I've looked high and low to find a good hard drive wiping program so that I can clean my old computer, but everything I've found so far, even though it says it works on 98, doesn't. I really need to get rid of this old paperweight, but have to kill the data first. Any good suggestions?

I'm trying to wipe my old computer's hard drive in order to be rid of it, and I have a CD boot disk to do the job. Unfortunately, the computer is not seeing the drive, so it can't boot from the disk. How can I restore visibility of the drive?

This happened for the first time ever this morning. I pull data from a website by right-clicking it and selecting "Export to Excel" from the options. That option has now vanished. I tried the Compatibility button, but no luck. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

I'm curious about what other people think about having expectations of their partner in a committed relationship or marriage. The only way to connect is through an ethernet cable from the old computer into my router, although I could plug into my laptop if necessary. What steps do I need to take to get the network to recognize the old computer so I can access the files on it?

This is kind of weird. During the day, my machine runs just fine, but in the evenings and later at night, it is slow as molasses. Some pages don't load at all, some take a few minutes, and others load with errors. What's going on here?

I have a file that I tried to print, but it got locked up. When I tried to delete it from the queue, it said it was deleting the file, but it just sits there continuing to say the same thing. I unplugged the printer, restarted the computer, all of the usual things, but it won't go away. In the meantime, I can't print anything. What am I supposed to do to get this thing out of there?

I wonder if anyone else has used both programs and what your impressions are. I need to know what's good and what's bad about MySQL compared to Access. Is it a one-for-one transition?
