Exodus 20:1-17
I'm a Seventh-Day Adventist Christian. I would like to challenge other Christians to look into their Bible and search for GOD's truth. This religion forum is an excellent place to speak to others.
This is a question for Muslims: What is the day of corporate worship in Islam?
I am a Christian and I think that it is Friday. However, I am not sure.

8 AnswersEmbarazo1 decade agoChristianity vs. Atheists revisited?
I asked this question earlier today:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylc=X3oDMTE1aT...
When people ask "what would the world be like without religion?", I can point directly to this study.
No religion=more suicides! However, the study does NOT answer the question, WHY this is so?
I suppose I can safely speculate that it may be directly related to the hopelessness one experiences when you feel that you have NO PURPOSE in life.

I was wondering if there was a study done regarding the suicide rate of Christians compared with Atheists?

Does it come from science books? Perhaps it comes from "Origin of Species"? Or do you make it up as you go along?
What's your take on this issue?

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI want to thank everyone who answered my question?
In a previous question I asked about the "son of perdition".
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjOSn...
I would like to point out something that many people have missed.
2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
In verse 3 it states "for that day shall not come". What "day"? The answer is in verse 1, " by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ".
What's my point? The Antichrist comes BEFORE Jesus comes!
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWho is the "son of perdition" mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3?
This is a serious question. However, I know that many will take potshots. So, be my guest.
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do so many Christians use Luke 16:19-31 as proof that when someone dies they either go to heaven or hell?
You have to understand that this is a parable. If it is a parable, then you cannot use the elements in the parable literally. If you do, then you are faced with serious interpretation problems. the following is a short list of problems that occur:
1. In v.22 we see Lazarus carried to Abrahams bosom. Why his bosom and not the bosom of JESUS who saved him?
2. v.24, Where else in the Bible does it say that those that are in heaven and in hell will be able to communicate with each other?
3. v. 24, Why is the rich man appealing to Abraham?
4. v.24, Why send Lazarus with a drop of water on his finger?
5. Would a single drop be sufficient?
These are some of the most obvious questions that anyone who reads this carefully would ask. So, now I am asking you. How would any preacher reconcile these questions with the rest of the Bible?
Much more could be asked and said about this topic and other related topics.
GOD bless
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoA few questions for the evolutionists...?
1. How did a single cell determine that it will be a higher life-form?
2. That same cell, how did it determine its structure?
3. If it's "survival of the fittest", how did that cell(lower life-form) become a higher life-form?
4. How did a cell determine that the high life-form it will turn into will have, for example, 2 eyes, 2 ears a nose and a mouth?
5. Why not 1 eye, 1 ear, 2 noses, a 2 mouthes?
6. What were the "right conditions" on earth to produce this evolutionary process?
7. If the temperature or maybe the humidity were different, would question 5 have been possible?
Do any evolutionists have answers to these questions?
My agenda is simple. Weigh the evidence from both sides and see who truly has the answers.
GOD bless!!!

33 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy call the Sabbath Jewish?
What qualities made the Sabbath "only" for the Jews? I am referring specifically to the seventh-day Sabbath mentioned in Exodus 20. I am NOT talking about the feasts and sabbath days mentioned in Leviticus 23.
Here is my point, if the Sabbath was for the Jews, then all the Commandments of GOD were for the Jews. Does that make sense? For that matter, JESUS' ministry was not for Christians, but, for the Jews. Since JESUS came to appeal to the House of Judah.
How does one explain Acts 13:42-44? Luke 4:16? etc.
Does the Bible call any other day holy, blessed, and sanctified?
In the KJV, there are only eight references to Sunday. Sunday is called "first day of the week". None of the verses change that day!
There is much more that can be said.
I know that CHRIST was raised from the dead on Sunday. Where does the Bible call that day Holy?
Man's tradition calls that day holy, however, GOD's WORD DOES NOT!!!
"REMEMBER" says the Commandment!!!
GOD bless.
