Okay, I have a Dell Dimension E521, it currently has Windows Vista 32BIT on it. I was wanting to hackintosh it and dual boot it with Mac OS X. Tell me STEP BY STEP instructions on how I do this and where I could get the patched OS X file from to dual boot it.

So, my school just added a wireless network that guests can connect to, but when they do, they have to "log in", it shows a certain web page after they connect to the Wi-Fi network.

I was wondering if I could do the same thing with my Wi-Fi network at home? If so, tell me step-by-step on how to do it. I have a Belkin router.

Okay, I have Windows Vista Home Basic, I was wanting to install Mac OS X as a dual boot, well, when I try to burn I Atkos to a disc, all of the utilities require a CD. The file is too big to be burned to a CD, so I can't use a DVD. I have looked EVERYWHERE to find out how to boot iAtkos V7 from my USB jumpdrive, but I could never find out how to do it!

Can you help me out with doing this???

Ok, I have "SONY CDRWDVD CRX310S SCSI" and previously it would recognize CD's (R & RW) and it would recognize DVD's (R & RW) but now, for some reason, it won't recognize DVD's at all!

It still recognizes CD's (R & RW).

Can someone tell me what would be the problem?

Okay, my dad and stepmom bought me Mario Kart Wii to play with my 6 year old brother, well, when I get back home, I set it all up, we exchange Friend Codes, we notice that when we click on each other's names, it says "Unable to meet up" and below that, it says "Connecting to Nintendo WFC" when we are both already connected.

Now, when one of us goes to the "Create a Room", the other person's Wii makes a sound and says something like "I've created a room!" and when they click "Meet up", not too long after, it says "Communication Error. Please visit support.nintendo.com for more help. Error code: 86420" I go there and what that says makes no sence to me!

This error occurs when there is a communication problem between players during online gameplay.

Try this:

If your router's security software (firewall) is turned on, it may block communication that is required for online gameplay. To fix this, try disabling the router's firewall*.

Most firewall settings are located under the "Advanced" or "Security" tab.

If the problem still persists with the firewall off, you may need to open ports on your router through the Port Forwarding feature.

Create a manual connection on your Wii and assign a static IP Address.

Open ports 1 through 65535 as both TCP and UDP.

Ensure the ports are forwarded to the same IP Address given to the Wii during the manual setup.

Trouble connecting to a friend?

If the above steps have not resolved the issue and you are trying to connect with specific friends, the problem could potentially be an issue on your friend's network. Your friend will have to perform these troubleshooting steps with their home network.

Alright, my grandpa gave me his computer (Windows Vista Home Basic 32BIT) and when I got it, I realized that there were tons of problems with the computer.

I was wondering if I could insert the "Reinstallation DVD" into the computer and it erase EVERYTHING and reinstall Windows Vista?

I asked my friend if that was a good idea and he said that that wasn't what I was wanting to do because that disc is only for when the OS crashes. But I inserted it not too long ago and it said that if I ran the disc that it would erase all of my files, settings, and programs, and reset it just like it was a new computer.

And I told my friend this and he still said that's not what I do to do that.

He said I should "wipe my HD".

Isn't that what this disc does?

The disc label states exactly this...

I have Avira AntiVir Premium installed on my Windows Vista Home Basic SP2 computer, and when I start up my computer, Avira also starts. And I notice that the umbrella (to tell you if it's on or off) is closed (something is off). This is what the pop up says when i "roll-over" the icon in my toolbar at the bottom right.

Normally if the last two were off, they'd say "inactive" instead of "stopped"

Also, when I open Avira, it says "Disabled" for "Online Protection", and then I click on the word "Disabled" and it says "Service Stopped" for both of them...

I just got a Windows Vista computer from my friend that didn't need it any more, and I had already put all of my information and files on it. And when I went to go open Windows Media Player, It showed the loading symbol next to the cursor and then went away after like a second and the program never came up and I tried reinstalling it after I downloaded it from http://download.cnet.com/ and it said,

"There is a more recent version of Windows Media Player (11.0.6002.18111) already installed on your computer. It is not possible to use and older installation package (11.0.5721.5146) to install files or to repair your current version of the Player."

I can't even open Windows Media Player.

How can I unlock my Motorola RAZR?

Alright, I have a Windows Vista Home Basic computer, I also have a Windows XP SP3 computer.

Now, since I got this new computer, I wanted to transfer everything from my old computer (Windows XP computer) to my new one (Windows Vista).

But when I installed and ran the program that my Vista computer told me to install on my XP computer to help with the transfer (Windows Easy Transfer), it came up with a dialog box that started out saying "The Migration Failed: Windows Easy Transfer will now be canceled" and when I click OK, it says "Closing Windows Easy Transfer." and that is really the only way to get my files over to my new computer. I have a LOT of files on my old computer that need to get transferred to this one and I REALLY don't want to do it the old way because I know if I do thnI will forget like half of the files that are on my old computer.

Can someone help with this problem???

Ok, so my iPhone 3G is jailbroken and when I go install something on Cydia, sometimes it reboots randomly, I had it jailbroken previously and it did the same thing then and I thought a restore and a few months of being unjailbroken it would fix some problems, ... NOT!

This is really getting on my nerves!

And it's not an expected thing, well it is but it's not timed. (like it's random.)

And when it does a reboot, it takes about 4-5 minutes for it to come back on.

Is there something that I can do to stop this from randomly rebooting?

I have 5 dogs and 2 of which aren't mine, doggiesitting, and everytime the doorbell rings or someone knocks on the door, it's the domino effect, one barks then they all bark and it just gets louder. Is there something that knows when a dog barks that plays a high pitched sound for a period of time to make them shut up? It's everytime someone knocks or rings the doorbell. Or even when someone comes in the door. Help please ???
