Is there a name for people who get paid to test new medications on the market? The professional job title, anyway.

My right eye's been bugging me today. Stinging on & off. It started to get blurry a couple hours ago, so I took out my non-prescription colored contacts (a brand I've used for years) & it's getting worse. If I get closer to something it starts to clear up a bit, but for the most part my sight won't focus in that eye. The pupil is also a little smaller in that eye than the left. Kinda freaking out.. never had my eye see this blurry for so long before. Usually when my vision is blurry it's just some gunk I need to get out, but my eye is clear. I've been using eye drops (expiration is July 2016) & they're not doing anything except temporarily relieving redness/stinging pain, but only momentarily. Of course my insurance doesn't cover optometrists, & OF COURSE the pain/blurry vision didn't start until AFTER my doctor's appointment earlier. If it matters, I'm 24 and have Sjogren's Syndrome (autoimmune disorder), which causes my eyes & mouth to become dry, but my eyes have never had blurry vision from the dryness. My father had cataracts several years ago & was just informed my family has a history of glaucoma. Can glaucoma/cataract symptoms just start out of the blue like this?? I don't know what to do, since I don't have optometrist coverage should I see my primary care doctor? Happy birthday to me :'(

The knob to my front loading GE washing machine broke off months ago, and is now lost. I've been using needle nose pliers to turn what's left of it, to select the washing settings (speed wash, delicates, etc.). Now now matter which direction I turn it, it stays where it's at, on speed wash. It's not much of a problem except when I need to wash delicates and such. I can't afford a repairman or a new washer. I think the piece I grip the pliers with is just past it's time. I can pull while turning it, push it in, everything and it doesn't move. Is there a way to fix this somehow? I have no money to buy a new washer, idk what to do if this breaks even more :(

Besides a trip to the craft store, where can I find parts for this and how would I do it?

I bleached my hair then used semi-permanent blue dye. It's fading and I HATE it. I found PERMANENT blue hair dye (from another country) online. It should be here in a couple weeks. My question is, do I need to strip my hair of the semi-permanent dye before using the permanent dye? Or will the permanent dye attach enough on top of everything? I'm worried that the perm. dye will wash out or become ineffective if it's put over the semi-permanent dye as opposed to bleached hair. I hope that makes sense.. basically, for the best results for the permanent dye, should I just strip the semi-permanent color I already have in my hair out before using the permanent dye? Or will it not matter?

According to this site and a few others, you can mix food dye with conditioner, let it sit for about half an hour and that it becomes permanent hair dye. Seems simple enough, but almost too easy. I'd like to hear from those who have TRIED it and if it worked. I'm looking for PERMANENT (NOT semi-permanent) hair dye. I bleached my hair & used Splatt blue hair dye, but it's only semi-permanent and rinses out every time I shower and fades within 2 weeks. I want to touch up the faded parts with homemade permanent hair dye but want to make sure it REALLY works first. I also heard Kool-Aid works too, but haven't tried either.

BEST ANSWER goes to someone who can tell me they tried this and if it really worked as PERMANENT hair dye, as in, no fading or rinsing out (though I guess fading is fine, food coloring isn't expensive but I don't want to have to do it every 2 weeks). If it did NOT work, how did you accomplish permanent HOMEMADE hair dye?

My grandmother gave me this antique armoire that's been in our family for at least 2 generations. I let our roommate use it for his tv in his room when he moved in a couple years ago.I discovered it a year later after going in his room to find it destroyed. He spray painted it, broke off the doors, drew on it, completely trashed it, claiming a former roommate (my cousin) said it was his and gave it to him (a lie). He's moving out soon and he needs to PAY. But I have no idea how much it WAS worth before he trashed it. I don't have the heart to tell my grandmother what happened as she would be livid & devastated. The only markings I can find on it is a stamp on the upper back which reads "Made in Mexico". Idk what kind of wood it is, the manufacturer, age, etc. I was hoping someone could help me out. I'd like to charge him the value of it BEFORE he ruined it, or charge the cost of refurbishing it (whichever is more expensive). Please take a look at the pictures and let me know, I know nothing about this thing other than it's an antique and has been in the family for a long time.

YES, I KNOW facebook supposedly "changed" the settings where everyone can message you, but apparently some people found a loophole because I still keep seeing profiles that have no "add friend" and no "message" button. I've tried setting my fb settings to "strict filtering" in my messages but I still get messages from people I don't know. I only want friends to be able to message me. What's the secret?

I have very oily skin. Facial cleansing products do NOT ever work on me, tried most of them. I know baking soda can be used as face wash by mixing it with water. I wash my face with baking soda/water mix every other day. It doesn't seem to dry out my skin or anything most other people experience, but it makes me break out! I've rarely had any zits but since I started using baking soda to wash my face for the past month, I get HUGE zits and quite often. It's like I'm in high school all over again :/ Why is it f*cking up my skin when it should do the opposite? What other natural ingredient(s) can I use instead? I used to clean my face with rubbing alcohol & witch hazel, I felt baking soda would be more natural but it ruins my skin.

I wash with regular detergent. I can't afford anything but the cheapest bottle of detergent, so trying Downy or something is not an option.

I put all my clothes in the dryer EXCEPT delicates (bras, panties, pants with buckles [Tripp brand], etc.). I hang them up on hangers inside my house because it's way too dusty outside. My bras air dry just fine but my pants and shirts always dry hard/crunchy. WTF?! Why do most of my clothes get hard after drying but the bras are fine? Very irritating

I have a stye on my lower lash line that's been there for months, it won't go away. I've done hot compresses, stopped using eyeliner, it won't go away. I recently started picking at it because every day it gets a hard dark spot on it, almost like a blackhead. I pick it off and have been applying A&D Ointment (triple antibiotic ointment) on it with a q-tip so I don't get it in my eye. But it's literally right on the lash line so no matter how hard I try, ointment gets on my eye. I wipe it off, but the tube says to not get it in the eyes. It doesn't burn or anything. But today I keep feeling like I have something on my eye, like you know how you get clear stuff on your eye sometimes? Like.. "eye boogers" lol? It *feels* like something is there, like it feels more moist than usual, but nothing is on my eye. Idk if that has anything to do with the ointment, but it made me wonder. It won't make me go blind getting a tiny bit on my eye every day will it? I always wipe it off immediately. I just wanna make sure it won't ruin my eyesight or anything.

By the way, I started using the ointment because a friend recommended this antibiotic ointment just for styes, but I'm unemployed and have no cash and no way to get money, so buying it is not an option. I looked the stuff up & it's pretty much just bacitracin/triple antibiotic ointment. It's all I have that's close enough to get rid of this thing, so I've been using it and it's making it go away.

All I can find are tightening creams for the face, which may not work on my belly and will only come in small containers. A lot of sites online say to use over-the-counter tummy tightening creams to tighten skin on the stomach, but where the hell do I get them?? Is there a health store I could go to? I'd prefer to physically get it from a store, not order online. Please help, and ONLY answer if you know. Yes, I'd be using it in addition to diet and exercise. I have loose skin and stretch marks from having my son 3 years ago.

Does anyone know if it's indeed French and what American name it translates to? Any info on the meaning? I saw this movie a few years ago that was based on a true story. It was on Lifetime. It was about this woman who had an affair with a guy she met online. She sent him pics and videos of herself and faked a pregnancy, while claiming her husband was abusive. After she tells her guy on the side that her husband beat her so bad she miscarried, she convinces the guy to murder her husband. The guy does it and finds she played him, since she got with someone else. So he left a bunch of evidence in a briefcase and committed suicide. The evidence got the woman charged and arrested. WHAT MOVIE/STORY IS THIS? I can't remember names, except the guy on the side (in the movie, anyway) his name was Joe.

I have a Macbook Pro. I've always use iMovie without any issues. Today it won't open. The icon bounces a few times in the dock and it doesn't open. If I right click on the icon, it gives me the option to "quit" the application but it's not even open! It doesn't open the program at all. WTF is wrong with this thing? I tried restarting my computer and it still doesn't work. What gives?!!!

I'm Bipolar but can't afford my medication, so I'm severely unbalanced. Any little thing sets me off, like my makeup not looking good enough. I scream, throw things, cry, etc. at the drop of a hat. How do I keep my emotions under control while I'm having a manic episode? I'm used to instant relief, via cutting and/or smoking. I'm trying to stop cutting & my husband is controlling when it comes to smoking so I don't know how to handle myself & calm down when I get angry now that I can't have my vices. NO, I'm NOT still going through puberty (started puberty at age 13, almost 14)

My boobs have always been tiny, I hate it. When I got pregnant I thought they'd grow. Nope. All they did was sag and make them look even more disgusting.

But lately they feel bigger to me & my cleavage pops out more than usual (but I tightened my bra straps a few weeks ago, so maybe that? But then why would it take so long to notice a difference?). I'm probably imagining it, my husband says he doesn't feel/see a difference. But they *feel* different to me AND they've been sore for the past few days (No, it's not because of my period). They don't even get sore/sensitive when I'm on my period! So I suspect something is up. They've only ever been sore the first 2 months of pregnancy.

But I'm 22, so them growing 7 years post-puberty is not normal. No changes in lifestyle except I barely eat anymore, I walk a few miles every week & I've been having sex more often (Don't even try the whole, "sex makes your boobs grow!" myth on me, if it were true my chest would have exploded by now & every sexually active girl would have huge t1ts).

What could be making them sore & feel bigger?
