  • Why do I like this guy?!?

I grinded with a guy at a school dance. We're seniors in high school, and it was only for one song, and he did it with a bunch of other girls too.

It's been 4 days and I can't stop thinking about him. We're kinda friends, but I never liked him before.I don't know why I like him...I blame biology I guess. I keep telling myself to stop liking him but I don't think I will for a while...

So what do I do? Ask him out in a couple of weeks or something? The problem is that he has a lot of other girls who like him, and I used to think he was annoying in the past, but I like him now...or did I just love the attention?

  • I don't know why I like him...?!?

I grinded with a guy at a school dance. We're seniors in high school, and I don't usually grind, but it's what 80% of people are doing for the whole dance. It was only for one song, and he did it with a bunch of other girls too and I didn't really care at the time.

It's been 4 days and I can't stop thinking about him. We're kinda friends, but I never liked him before.I don't know why I like him...I blame biology I guess. Men are programmed to run from girl to girl and women are programmed to get emotionally attached. I keep telling myself to stop liking him but I don't think I will for a while...

So what do I do? Should I tell him that I like him? Ask him out in a couple of weeks or something? The problem is that he has a lot of other girls who like him, and I used to think he was annoying, but I don't know...I feel something now.

  • What do I say after we grinded at a dance?

I'm a senior in high school and grinded with a senior guy just for one song. I saw him grind with 3 other girls too and then the next morning Facebook said he broke up with his girlfriend and is now single. He's in my classes...what do I say to him tomorrow? I think he was grinding on lots of girls for fun but now his girlfriend found out I guess and I feel bad for him...

  • How do I follow up on a job application?

I am a 17-year-old high school student with no prior work experience, and I emailed my resume to a pizza place who said they were hiring anyone 16 or older for counter help.

How should I contact them for a follow-up on my application status: call or email?

How long should I wait from the time I emailed the resume before I do a follow-up email/call?

And what do I say in the follow-up call/email?

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!

P.S. I have not gotten any response or interview or anything yet. :(

  • I'm a high school student who needs a basic laptop...what do I get?

Okay, so I am in high school and this year my school allowed laptops. I want to go electronic next year (my senior year) and bring my laptop everyday for school assignments, but I also want to use it as my own computer so I can stop using the family one.

Right now, I would be happy spending less money, considering it's harder to make as a teen.

I use the Internet, Microsoft programs, iTunes, Skype, and that's basically it.

    MY REQUIREMENTS

~I have over 350 GB of music, videos, documents, etc, and my library is always growing, so I would prefer either a cheap laptop with 250 GB and then I could buy a cheap external hard drive to keep at home, OR I could get an expensive computer with at least 500 GB hard drive.

    ~13-14" screen

~I want the keyboard to be nice and I'd prefer

    ~something that burns CD's and DVD's

~ has at least 5 hours of battery life per charge (I need it to last for the school day!)

~Windows 7 and good wi-fi connectivity, seeing as that's how I will get Internet at home and in school.

Do you have any good ideas for less expensive laptops that have those requirements? Also, what's a good memory and processor for me? About how many years would this laptop last before I have to get a new one?

  • Pros and cons of teen buying a car?

Hello. I am a teenage girl and I've had my license for 4 months; however, I have no car. I can use my mom's car on the weekends when she's not using it, but I would like my own to drive to and from school/my activities. Currently, my mom drives me everywhere during the week.

My mother said that if I get a job and I can prove that I can earn enough money per month to cover my insurance and gas bills, then I can have her car. So, basically, she will give me the car for free, but I must pay insurance, gas, and repairs (if needed).

My dilemma: is it worth it to work most of my week just to put all my hard-earned money towards a car so I can be independent and drive myself everywhere, OR is it a waste of time when I have a mother willing to drive me around anyways?

  • My friend likes MY crush!?

So I've had a crush on this guy for a little over year. I've never dated anyone, he's never dated anyone, but I've never asked him out or anything. He's nice to me, but I doubt he'd date me...maybe I'll ask him someday...

The problem is I have a friend Annie (we're not that close) who likes my crush now. She broke up with her boyfriend and everyone asks her who she would date if she could pick, and he's always on the top 3 boys on her list! I fear that this friend, because she is bold, might "beat me to him", so to speak. This pisses me off, even though I've had the chance and done nothing about this guy for the past year!

I don't want to ask him out and then make her think I was just doing it to bug her, but if she ends up doing it, it will really annoy me. Hurt me, even though he was never mine.

What can I do? Should I gather the courage to ask him out or give him up to her? :/

    Thanks in advance!

  • I have no friends :(?

I am gonna be a junior in high school in a month and I am annoyed that I don't have a BEST friend.

The friend I had in middle school was great but she moved so we lost touch and stuff but there was never a dull moment: we never stopped talking and always had fun.

So basically now I have friends that I talk to in school and like me and stuff but we never hang outside of school. I'm busy during the school year so it's not on my mind as much, but now it's summer and I can drive but I have nowhere to go because I can't hang with friends.

    I'm lonely.

What do I do? How do I just ask people to hang out without feeling like I'm intruding into their group of friends? I NEED A BETTER SOCIAL LIFE! If you don't have any advice for now, what do you think about during the school year? What can I do then to get my friends in school to hang out on the weekends with me?

  • Sexually experienced?

    1. For those of you who are married, have been married, or are engaged: On your wedding night, were you/are you planning on being:

    Both virgins?

Is/was one of you was a virgin and one is/was more experienced?

Or were/are you both already sexually experienced?

    2. How was your first time together (tell if it was on your wedding night or you did it before you got married)?

    3. If one or both of you were virgins, how long did it take you to get used to each other sexually?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Sex question for married couples?

I was just wondering what your sexual experience was before you got married. Were you:

    Both virgins?

Was one of you was a virgin and one was more experienced?

Or were you both already sexually experienced?

I'm wondering because I feel that when I get married, I plan on being a virgin, but the odds suggest that my spouse will not be. For anyone in this situation or the we-are-both-virgins-situation, how long did it take you to get used to sex with each other?

  • is this an independent clause?

    "He was also given money"

I'm not sure because of the word "also", but it does have a subject and a verb.

  • Should there be a comma here?

"He was also given money and a health examination was required."

Should there be a comma before "and"?

I originally thought so because there are two independent clauses (2 subjects and 2 verbs), but now I'm not sure because of the word "also." If you separate them into sentences, is "He was also given money" a sentence?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Outback Steakhouse's new slogan is "Live Adventurous." Shouldn't it be adventurously?

  • Finding a guy that's a virgin?

What are the chances of finding a virgin guy? I want to wait until I'm married, but not for religious reasons. In fact, I'm an atheist. What are the chances of finding a virgin guy that's not terribly/annoyingly religious? I'm guessing very slim...
