  • Dealing with very PICKY clients.?

Right now, we're designing some websites for people, but every time we think that the design is perfect, the clients come in with a major request that totally over extends the amount of time we wanted to devote to their website. What tips would you recommend we do to be able to squash this problem before it starts.

  • I'm driving the same distance with a 1 and 7 wood?

So here's the deal, both my 1 wood and my 7 wood are getting a distance between 220 and 250 yards at the driving range. I'm not sure if my distances are comparatively good, but I know I should be driving farther with my 1 wood. What do you think is happening?

  • What kind of decals should I use on my road bike?

I recently painted an 80's , downtube-shifter road bike all black, and I want to put some decals on it, but I'm having trouble thinking of a "theme". what would you recommend?

I don't know the brand of the bike, and I actually don't give a hoot about putting that type of decal on it anyways.

  • Would you stay, or would you leave?

So, here's the deal. I have been dating this girl for about 10 years: mostly in high school and college. But when adulthood came around, I realized that our relationship couldn't last because of certain character incompatibilities.

Our families and friends all live in the same town, approx. 80,000 population. I really feel that I should leave town for a while or for good, but of course, I would have to leave my family (bummer)

I really won't be able to stay because she will probably hang around my house, spread rumors, and perhaps undermine my friends and places I like to hang out.

If you were me, would you leave or stay?

additional: don't judge me as running away from my problems. I actually feel it's more of a "moving on" type scenario.

  • How much should I weigh?

I'm relatively new to cycling as I've been doing it almost every day for three months. I've started to think about endurance training so that I can compete in some bike races at the end of summer. I'm about 5'9 andI'm wondering approximately, how much should I weigh. obviously, the heavier I am, the more work on the bike I'll have to do.

My shoulders are really broad and I have really big arms ( 16.5 inch biceps without much weights.) I'm around 187 lb, at 15% body fat.

    Where should I get to?

  • Replacing my downtube shifter on a Vintage Bike?

I have a vintage 12speed bike, with down tube shifters. and I was wondering if the shifter and brake cables that are sold at Target (Bell, I think) would work for my road bike. If not, should I be looking for a specific type or brand?

  • Will this work to Kill a Catfish?

I once knew a guy who had a freshwater tank of fish, and during a party, some idiots thought it would be funny to put salt in the water to see what happened. Needless to say, every fish died by the end of the night.

So, if I stick the catfish in a live-well with salt water, do you think it will kill them before I drive home (1 hour) ? I don't like having to bludgeon my dinner and if there is an easier method than the "hammer" method. Please share your ideas.

  • I'm having Front Fork Problems?

The other day, the bolt on my front forks must have come loose and it starts to depress the fork springs with even slight pressure on the handlebars. I've included a photo link that will show the bolt that needs to be tightened.

How much should I tighten the bolt?

  • Why are Cyclists always hung up on Gear and Parts?

I find few cyclists in my area that want to talk about ripping 30 mph on a backroad, or the "spirit quest" that a long bike ride can be. Nobody brings up when dogs give chase or ladies whistle.

but they will drone on and on and on and on about their hubs, and shiny crap from REI like it's the friggin Holy Grail. Jeez man, just shut up and bike.

    Anyone else agree?

  • What's your favorite thing to do After a long Bike Trip?

Sometimes I get tunnel vision from riding my bike 3+ hours, so I need advice on what to do after a long ride to reset my cranium. I sometimes still feel the oncoming traffic when the ride has been over for a while. It's like when you get sea legs from being on a boat all day.

  • While on my bike A woman "Cat-called" me the other day.?

I am becoming an avid cyclist, and women have frequently cat-called me from their cars, saying "hey baby," or "Nice Helmet" and stuff like that. I assume this is a common thing for women because men act like belligerent idiots at times. However, does this ever happen to you?

Is it common? I get a lot of idiots yelling at me and what not, but the ladies are starting to shout things too....

    What do you think?

I am becoming an avid cyclist, and women have frequently cat-called me from their cars, saying "hey baby," or "Nice Helmet" and stuff like that. Should i tell my mate? I have considered it a compliment to myself and to her, but I'm not sure how she would take it.

  • Can Cycling cause Insomnia?

I have really stepped up my training lately, and I've noticed that the days I spend over 2 hours on the bike, I get this weird sleeping pattern of going to sleep at 10 pm, feeling tired. Then I wake up at 1a.m. thinking it's at least 6 a.m. because I feel fully rested. The biking is the only thing different from any other day, so....that's what I guessed it was. Is this a common phenomenon?
