  • How to get power in a apartment during a outage?

    I live in a apartment building in the center of a city and I'm a so called "prepper". I like being prepared for emergencies, i have four month's worth of food 50 gallon's of water and flashlights candles and material to pass the time in case of a emergency. Two thing's i do not have is a source of power in case of a outage and a way to cook food and get heat, I have a coleman propane stove but i think using that inside could be dangerous, so i'm not sure if i can use that. And as far as generator's go i know i can't have one because i live in a one bedroom apartment, So are there any generator's that can be used indoors? And what kind of stove can i have for heat and cooking? {: Thanks

  • Why is my cats poop red?

    I have two cat's ones a kitten like 18 weeks the others about 4, Their both girls both always indoors. I just got home today and when i went into the bathroom where the litter box is i saw that there was red in it, It wasn't like a mushy red which is what i've been seeing mostly on here. The red part honestly looked exactly like yarn, then that was kinda in twined with the regular colored poop. Like it;s like three inches long and the top is regular brown and normal then it becomes the red yarn looking stuff and then back to the brown, Sorry gross i know i just want to be specific. As far as i know theres no red yarn or anything like that in my house

  • Why am i getting toned as im bulking?

    I am 20 , male 5'10 and 168 pound's, I've been bulking for the past six month's going to to the gym 5 day's a week eating 3000 calorie's a day of healthy protein filled food's and i've noticed the weirdest thing is happening, I have gained 23 pound's because i was at 145 when i started lifting again. But i'm also ten time's more toned, I'm not complaining at all of course toned is good, But aren't you supposed to get toned after you do your cut? and lose tone when your bulking? I'm just wondering when i start my cut after i hit 205 pound's am i gonna be ripped as hell cause im still toning as im gaining weight? lol

    2 servings of protein, one serving of carbohydrate’s, one dairy serving, one fruit’s serving and one snack serving, 6 serving’s all together.

    Lunch

    2 slices of Bread, 3 ounces of sliced ham , Sliced strawberries 2 cups, one cup of carrot’s, 1 cup nut’s, Butter/ Sour cream for potato’s, Two potato’s, 5 Cheese slices and one bottle of v-8 juice.

    2 servings of protein, 2 servings of carbohydrates, one serving of condiments, one serving of fruit’s, two serving of vegetable’s and two serving of snack’s. 11 servings

    After work snack

    1 cup yogurt, 1 cup baked beans, 1 cup of tuna and one cup of cottage cheese

    1 serving of dairy, 1 serving of carbohydrates and 2 servings of protein 4 servings

    Dinner

    One scoop whey protein, one cup carrots and one peach, 3 ounce’s boneless skinless chicken.one tablespoon flaxseed oil, One glass of milk with whey

    One serving of fat, Two servings of protein, one serving of vegetable’s and one serving of fruit, One serving of dairy, 6 servings all together.

    For entire day

    8 servings of protein, 4 servings of carbohydrates, 3 servings of dairy, 3 servings of fruit, 3 snack servings, 3 servings of vegetables, 1 serving of condiments and 1 serving of fat. 26 serving’s all together

  • How safe is tanning once a week?

    Okay, So I'm 20 5'10 175 pound's and have a six percent body fat, I'm kinda a health freak and follow a awesome diet eat healthy work out 5 day's a week and am in extremely good shape all around. So i have the six pack ab's, big arm's and everything else guy's work for. The reason i work so hard on my diet and the gym is about 50 percent health and 50 percent looks. As far as looks go im good on body and i'm also mostly hairless so that's not a problem. One thing i hate is the fact that im about as pale as a white piece of paper, I've Always mostly ignored it but i was just thinking how much better i would look if i was a little tanner and I've never even used a tanning booth because i've heard their basically poison for your skin, But when i started doing some research i found some people tan three time's a day everyday which honestly Maje's me sick, But my question is how unhealthy once a week for like 10 to 15 minute's be??

  • Please help, Need help setting up surround sound to xbox 360?

    I have a rca 5.1 surround sound system, A 42 inch toshiba tv and a Original xbox 360. What i want to do is connect the xbox 360 to my surround sound and i was told the best way to do that is to use a hdmi cable and a optical cable. So i have my hdmi cable plugged into my xbox and into the back of my tv, And i have the optical cable plugged into the back of the surround sound and into my tv. I've been working on this for at least a week and i got told this would for sure make it work, Please help /: /:

    I've had a dull pain in my left testicle for the last few month's, It goes away for a few week's or some time's day's and then kills for a day, Bad enough that people ask me walk im limping at work. The pain's at the back and bottom of it, It Always gets super super tender, I went to the doctor a few month's ago when it started, And they said it's totally harmless and it was a cyst or something, Can't remember exactly what, but they said that they won't need to do anything unless it gets bigger and they have to drain it or something, Plus i dont wanna go back to them unless i have to cause i don't have insurance and it's like 500 just to get a check up /:. Any way's I've been googling alot and it seems random ball pain is EXTREMELY common, Like it's alot of the top searched thing's and alot of the store's sound exactly like mine as far as random pain. And it's been hurting like hell the past two day's, I'm gonna go buy some new more spacious work paint's since the ones i have are pretty tight around the ball and stomach area, (since I've gained 30 pound's in the past like four month's} lol.   • Why can't i gain weight ):?

    I'm a 20 year old male, 5'10 148 pounds and I'm in decent shape sorta skinny but still with a lot of tone and muscle. About six week's ago i decided to try to put on some weight, Went out and bought a bunch of healthy food's chicken tuna protein shake's fruits everything. And i've started eating 3000 calorie's a day split into 6 meal's drinking protein shake's twice a day. Plus i've been going to the gym six day's a week, following a split body workout doing between six and ten rep's in each workout. I'm pretty sure im doing everything right, And yet when i weighed myself today I've lost a pound so now im at 147 /:. Even though i have gained some mass and a lot of tone, Could it be im burning fat and gaining muscle, Even though that doesn't make to much sense, Because i didn't have much fat to begin with?? ):

  • Will changing my diet help me gain muscle faster?

    I'm 19 I've been working out for about a year 5 days a week and i've went from being super scrawny to having muscle and Definition but still being skinny. I'm about 145 pounds and 5'10 My normal day is ill wake up eat a bowl of cereal or pizza or whatever left over from my family eating the night before because i work nights im never home to eat with them. So i normally wake up about noon then ill eat something small then ill go to work and get some fast food before i go into work at 2.45 like taco bell or a shake from kfc or something. Then Ill go into work and not eat again until 7.30 or 8 when i go on lunch and i normally get taco bell a xxl steak or chicken burrito then ill work until 10.30 get off go to the gym to work out until 12 get home drink a protein shake, and that's my normal eating schedule for the day, bad i know... So i was thinking that's probably why i haven't been seeing any results even though ive been working out hard five days a week. So, Im planning on eating a much much healthier chicken rice fruits veggies and a lot of it. I do not have the money to follow a full diet right now. But im gonna start making my meals with what my family has instead of buying fast food, So ill make hs and tomorrow im gonna make chicken and a salad along with a few sandwhichs for work. Do you think eating more and super healthy food will actually make a difference? I've never really thought about it since im skinny but I'm really starting to get discouraged so im hoping changing my diet will make a difference do you guys think it will? Please answer soon {:

  • Should i get my car lifted? and how to take care of my soft top?

    I have a 2002 mitsubishi eclipse convertible soft top and i live in utah. We get pretty rough winters with storms of 1 to 2 feet of snow. My eclipse is super low to the ground like 5 inches off the ground. I had someone tell me i should get my car raised because driving through snow drifts of a foot or two will destroy my paint job is this true? and how do you think i can take care of my soft top? because i dont have a garage to put it in?

  • what type of running is the best?

    okay well im 17 i'm about 5'9 143 pounds and i lift weights everyday and im mostly muscle ive got really nice abs and biceps but i want better of both of them the way to do that would probably just be to burn off fat and tone but i dont wanna lose muscle

    theres a track by my house its a quarter mile long

    would it be better for toning to run like a full sprint for one lap around it and then walk one lap and then sprint again and do that 6 times

    or would it be better to just do a slow jog for three laps and then walk one lap and then jog three more or what?
