Why do some atheists insist on proselytizing? These are the same people who condemn Christians for doing the same.?
If you believe that people should be able to live their lives, as they choose, why do you insist on responding to questions on religion with negativity? Let people be. Or do you really think you can condemn the religious, while whining that you're under assault by the religious commenting on YOU? Double standard, right?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoIf you're for gay people getting married, surely you're OK with a man marrying his father. Or two brothers getting married.?
There's no birth defects, so is there any reason not to legalize gay incest and incestuous marriage?
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender6 years agoAnother user asked "Why are Christians and Muslims unwilling to apply the same rigorous tests to their religious beliefs that atheists do?"?
So, atheists tell me what "rigorous tests" have you run in order to determine there can be no God? Please note, "what tests do you have that God exists" or insults don't answer the question. The only thing that answers the question is to tell what these "rigorous tests" are that atheists perform.
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoDo any pro-choice people agree with the following statements?
* A pregnancy is "your organs being forcefully taken."
* A baby growing inside of you (because of an unplanned pregnancy) is illegal because "someone else using parts of your body without consent, illegal."
* "You have a right to refuse the use [to a fetus or post-born] of your organs, blood, etc."
* A baby is "in description" a parasite.
If you want to see the source of the quotes, from someone who think she's mainstream pro-choice, see "Sarah" here: /question/index?qid=20150...
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoCan it really be that there are pro-choice people who think of a fetus as a parasite?
See "Sarah" here: /question/index?qid=20150...
She believes that a pregnancy is where "your organs being forcefully taken."
She claims that a baby growing inside of you (because of an unplanned pregnancy) is illegal because "someone else using parts of your body without consent, illegal."
She believes that "it becomes a baby when mom says it is."
She say "You have a right to refuse the use [to a baby] of your organs, blood, etc."
She ways that a baby is "in description" a parasite.
Pro-choice people, is she a nut or do any of you really feel the same way as her?
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoIf it's OK to have an abortion because the child MIGHT have a bad life, is it OK to kill a child in a bad foster care situation...?
because he IS having a bad life? There is an argument by some "pro-choice" advocates that it's better to abort than to have an unwanted child. But doesn't that logic mean that it's better to kill an older child because it's not wanted?
9 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoIf a fetus is "just a clump of cells," then why is it (emotionally) "difficult" for a woman to have an abortion?
Shouldn't it be as guilt-free as cutting your hair or washing dirt off you hands? Or is it because they realize that they are ending a life?
5 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoIs homosexuality a birth defect?
If being gay is not a choice ("born with it"), doesn't that mean that it's a birth defect? Other than being PC, show me that this theory is show.
Oh, and no, "it doesn't hurt anyone" is not proof that it's not a birth defect.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhy is it OK to call alcoholism a disease, but not homosexuality? Being an addict is a choice, but we're treat these people like victims...?
...with a medical condition. Political correctness removed homosexual from the DSM as being a mental disease. But choosing to drink to excess or take drugs... "science" says these people have a medical problem.
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoLiberals say that it's wrong for a Christian bakery to deny service to a gay wedding.?
But they also say that a Jewish baker can deny service to a neo-nazi wedding. Why?
9 AnswersOther - Politics & Government6 years agoIs there any proof that no higher power exists?
If you want to answer "you can't prove a negative," don't bother... since I'm asking this specifically of people who assert that absolutely, positively, there can be no higher power?
27 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhy do atheists criticize Christians for their beliefs, but won't admit that their belief that God definitely does not exist is a guess?
Atheists tell us that there is definitely no God. When challenged to prove this, they say they can't. But doesn't that mean that they don't actually know, for a fact, that God does not exist? I understand agnostics, who simply have not found God, yet. But atheists, I don't understand. How can they condemn faith, when their entire view is based on nothing but faith?
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoAtheists and other non-believers, how have Christians ruined you life and the earth?
In another question, a user said " I'm full of rage because of people like you [Christians] who have ruined my life. Because people like you are ruining earth."
Can anyone tell me exactly how their life has been ruined by Christians. How, exactly, have Christians ruined the Earth?
I'm not asking for a challenge of belief. Simply how Christians have ruined your life or the Earth?
23 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoAre liberal finally admitting that the government is corrupt?
They keep telling us how the government police officer and the government prosecutor are corrupt killers. Seems like their believe that the government is great is falling apart. Are they ready to admit that we need to get government out of our lives and leave things to the free market and to respect the second amendment?
