  • How do I transfer photos from my Samsung Galaxy S2 PHONE memory into my MicroSD Card?

So, the question is pretty self-explanatory. But I'm going to add some more detail.

I have a LOT of pictures, over 1,000 in total, just chilling on my phone memory. But, as it turns out, my phone is jacked up and I need to replace it. So, in order to keep from losing all of my precious pictures I want to move them all over onto a MicroSD Card that I just bought.

How do I go about doing so?

I asked a tech-savvy friend of mine but he INSISTS that I have to download some sort of app in order to move the pictures.

I don't believe that to be true because I have done it on other phones without needing an app.

Another thing he did was show me how to move pictures from my SD Card to my phone memory, which is NOT what I want.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is being a real pain in the *** and I can't find the correct menu to move the pictures from my PHONE MEMORY onto my SD CARD MEMORY.

    Someone, anyone, PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Thanks. :)

  • Serious period question... (any GYNO 's out there)?

Throughout the duration of my period, the blood smells strongly of a rather fishy smell. It has been that way for as long as I have had my period, which is 7 years now.

    Is that normal?

If so, why is that and will I be able to get rid of it?

If not, what can be causing it and how can I get rid of it?

    No rude comments, please.

    Thank you!

  • Which birth control pill is most effective? (Any doctors out there?)?

As most twenty year olds out there, I'm sexually active. I want to ensure that I don't get pregnant anytime soon. My boyfriend and I love each other very much. But we don't want any babies at the moment. So I was wanting to know which brand of birth control is most effective and most trusted?

    Thanks!

  • Is it true that Siberian Huskies are capable of slowing down their metabolism?

I have a 3 year old Siberian Husky (For those that are wondering, it is the same one I gave away. His other family did not want him anymore so they gave him back). Anyway, my Siberian Husky is 3 years old and there are days when he practically inhales his food, no questions asked. But then there are days where he will not even give his food a sniff. If I try to coax him to eat he'll just sniff it, lick it and then walk away.

I asked my vet about this and they weren't sure why he did that. And I was speaking to another Husky owner at the dog park one day and they told me that Huskies are capable of slowing down their metabolisms so they do not have to eat so often when the weather is extreme.

    Is this true?

  • Would it be wrong of me to ask for my dog back?

Back in June of 2011 I gave my Siberian Husky away cuz I was to be shipped off to boot camp for the USMC a few months after. Long story short, boot camp didn't work out and I was medically discharged 2 months in.

As I stated, I gave my Husky away cuz of the whole boot camp thing since no one in my house would have been able to dedicate the time and patience to carefully caring for him.

Since coming home from boot camp, each day has been filled with more and more regret towards giving him away. To the point where I will break down and literally cry for hours and, on some nights, cry myself to sleep.

I know he's been with his new family for almost a year. But would it be say, morally incorrect, for me to ask them to give him back to me?

I got him when he was a furry little 2 1/2 months old. And gave him away at 2 1/2 years old, so I'm more than sure he'll remember me.

And the bond I had with him was unbreakable by anyone or anything. Nothing was capable of coming in between us, so I do believe he'll be happy to be with me again.

So, as I've asked twice already, would it be wrong for me to ask for him back and, in the end, take him back if they allow me to?

    Thanks to everyone that answers.

  • In the game Pokemon Black & White, is it possible for your Pokemon to run away?

I only ask cuz I can't find my Victini anywhere! He isn't in my party, isn't in any of my pc boxes and isn't at the day care. I know I didn't trade him and I know I didn't release him either. Is that possible? Is there any place else he can be? Thanks!

  • Which breed of cat is more likely to get along with dogs?

I know most of it depends on how the cat, itself, was raised. But is there any breed that is more known to get along better with dogs than most breeds of cats?

  • Is it true that calico cats are only females?

I've heard from multiple people, including veterinarians, that if a cat has the calico pattern (grey/black, brown and white) anywhere on it's body then it's a female. Is that a true statement? Or is it just an assumption made by someone?

If it IS true, why is it that calico's are only females?

    Thanks!

  • What kind of permit/license would I need to be able to own a fox?

I live in the state of NY and am interested in owning a fox. But not before I make sure it's the right pet for me and not before I get all of the information needed. I'll include a link to a site for my state regarding permits and licenses.

All I ask is someone tell me just what kind of permit/license I would need in order to be allowed to own a fox.

They are NOT illegal in NY. You just need a permit or a license.

I ask you all KINDLY to not get offended in any way and to not try and dissuade me on my decision. I'm still considering it. I just want to know what kind of permit or license I would need, should I do decide to get one.

    Thank you in advance.

  • What kind of Frog is this and what does it eat? (Pics included)?

My little brother brought this home from a party in our cousins backyard and we were wondering what specie of frog (Or possibly, toad) it is. We also would like to know what insects it favors.

I ask for it's diet because I know that fireflies are poisonous to some frogs and toads.

    The pics are below.

  • Why doesn't my dog give kisses?

This is something I've never come across before. All dogs I meet always give me kisses. However, my Lab/Pit doesn't. Ever since we found her as a puppy she never gave kisses. Even if she hasn't seen us in a while, she won't give kisses. Only time she'll actually lick someone's face is if they have food on it.

    Dos anyone know why?

I don't expect someone to know the EXACT reason. Just ideas or guesses would be fine.

And please, I ask nicely, nothing sarcastic.

    Thanks!

  • Will this forever effect my dog towards other small pets? (Please read everything. SUPER important.)?

So I have a Siberian Husky. He'll be 2 in April. He was the ideal dog when we first got him. But after reaching sexual maturity he showed a bit of tension towards my 9 year old male Yorkie, which is completely understandable. The tensions started off as a little staring and eventually growling. Then they became little nips towards my Yorkie. So, I sought help. My aunt helped me with the tensions between them and they became good pack members.

Here's where the problems rose up again.

Not too long ago I had rescued an injured duck. A Mallard, to be exact. Male. At first, they all lived in harmony. Except for the occasional beak from the Mallard towards my dogs. But the dogs never responded to it.

I wound up landing in the hospital for a week due to asthmatic bronchitis and when I returned home, my dogs were unruly and uncontrollable and all three of them had grown issues towards each other and towards the Mallard. (By the way, my third dog is a 2 year old female Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier).

When I came home from the hospital, first thing I did was bring my dogs back into harmony with each other. The female took to it greatly and had no issues with the males and vice versa. But for some reason, I couldn't bring the males to live peacefully with each other again. No matter how hard I tried, they always had little stare downs.

    Here's my main concern;

Just yesterday morning when I left to Brooklyn with my mother, my father let the Husky and the Lab mix out to the yard for some morning relief. All was well until about 15 minutes afterwards. My Husky found his way into the pen where we kept the Mallard and attacked and killed the duck. As much as I hate to admit it, it wasn't play. It was an attack. The duck had multiple bite wounds on the back, underside and wings, and was bleeding profusely. My father even noted that he saw my Husky tossing the duck around and his jaws were blood-stained. My father retrieved my Husky and sent him into the house. He brought the Mallard in and tried to help it, but it was obviously no use.

The Mallard was buried this morning.

However, yesterday when he brought the Husky in, the first thing my Husky tried to do was attack my Yorkie. His hairs were up, my father said there was a deep blood-churning growl, and he literally lunged at my Yorkie, jaws wide open. If my father hadn't reacted in time, my Yorkie would probably be in the same place as my Mallard is now.

    I guess what I'm trying to ask is as follows;

Will that attack and kill of the Mallard drive my Husky into, shall I say, madness? I mean, I've heard that if a dog gets the taste of another living thing's blood it can make him blood-thirsty. While I never believed that ever, I'm starting to now. I'd never heard of my Husky trying to attack my Yorkie the way my father said he did. To top it off, my Husky hasn't had any shots this year. I know that's a bit irresponsible. Please don't bash me for it. But, money has been tight lately and we just couldn't afford any shots at the moment.

This is the first place I thought to check without getting any serious attention drawn towards my dog about this.

    Please help me.

    Thank you.

  • I want a Ferret... Badly.?

However, my mother is completely against me getting a Ferret being that I'm leaving to the Marines soon.

My dad agreed to care for it while I was away.

    I have 4 dogs.

A 2 yr. old Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix.

    An 8 yr. old Yorkie.

    A 1 yr. old Husky.

And a 3 month old Lab/Pit/Husky pup. (I own the parents of this sucker).

I'm trying to find a way to convince my mother into letting me get a Ferret.

I want the pro's list of these cute, irresistible rodents.

My mother focuses only on the cons....

    Please and thank you!!

  • My camera memory card says it's locked..... Why?

I have a 10.1 mega pixel Casio Exilim camera. The memory card I use is Lexar Multi-Use 4 GB SDHC memory card. I recently uploaded the pictures from the memory card onto my laptop and when I put the memory card to take some more pictures, the screen on my camera said that my memory card was locked! I don't know how that happened or how to unlock it. But if anyone knows how, it'll be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

  • What is this strange sore on my dog's leg? (Pictures included.)?

I have a 1 1/2 year old Labrador/Pit Bull mix named Onyx. She's a wonderful girl. She's a guard dog and she keeps all the little critters out of our yard. But last week, I noticed a small lump on her leg. Just a little bump, I assumed. But about 2 days after that, the lump was cut open and revealed an open sore. The swelling went down and it was just an open cut. Everyday I cleaned it with alcohol and bandaged it up. But now it has this black spot on it (there's no hair at all) and it's getting bigger each day. It's already bigger than my fingernail.

I've tried getting my parents to let me take her to a vet, but they keep saying that it's "Just a cut" and will heal in no time. Almost two weeks now and it's getting worse. Any ideas on what it could be? The pictures are below.

And please don't rip on me about it. I'm terrified and unfortunately I can't drive or anything like that to take her to the vet myself.
