  • bi orbs : good or bad?

I've just purchased a bi orb 60l tropical freshwater tank and I'm looking for anyone who has experience with these tanks. I've seen some reviews : some good, some bad, so would be grateful if any owners of these tanks could share they're experience in the pros and cons of the bi orb bowl. I should add that i've keep tropical fish b4, but in a regular, rectangle 4 foot tank, so do have a fair bit of knowledge on what it takes to look after a tropical aquarium.

  • Should breeders be charged with fraud?

A friend of a friend of mine was tricked into buying a five month old dog de bordeaux with severe hip displaysia for £800! The breeder told her the reason the pup keep falling over was because she was so heavy boned and this was completely normal!!! The poor pup had to be put to sleep because the displaysia was so bad! My friend told me her friend said the mum and dad were both KC registered and so wer the pups, she told me she got the papers with the pup? So should the breeder be charged with fraud as they MUST have know this pup was not right, yet they still went ahead and sold the poor we thing under fales pretenses, and can the breeder be repored to the kennel club so any future pups from the breeding pair can't be registered?

Hi, my 11 month old male rottweiler, has had itchy paws for months now. I've had him to the vet on numerous occasions, hes been given Various antibiotic pills and creams, nothings worked. The vets not even sure whats causing it i.e. food or environment. Has any1 else had this sort of problem and if so is there anything you can recommend i.e. natural remedies. I've been giving him fish oil in his food, which works a little but doesn't solve the problem. Thanx

  • Side affects, after using carporfen (rimadyl)?

My 9 month old rottweiler was prescribed 50 mg carprofen tablets after he sprained his leg. But today-with just a few days left of his prescription hes started getting redness and itching between his pads on his 2 front paws. I phoned my vet today and they told me to stop giving him the pills and bring him in tomorrow morning. Has anyone else had this kind of reaction using carprofen, with there dog, and did the itching and redness clear up quickly, because my poor pup is going crazy with the itching.

  • Has my dog sprained his leg or is it something more serious...the result!?

Just back from vet + she thinks it is indeed a sprain! So it's anti inflammatories and stricked rest for a week. Then back for a checkup. I sure hope this does the trick and it doesn't turn out to be one of those nasty conditions associated with the breed. A BIG THANKS to those of you who took time to give advise and not just patronize.

  • Has my dog sprained his leg or is it something more serious?

My 9 month old rottweiler has been limping on his front right leg for over a week now. Initially we thought it was the small cut on his paw, but that has now almost heeled + hes still limping especially after his walk. This morning my oldest son moved the dogs leg slightly to the side + he let out a cry + now his limp has gotten worse. I am really worried its something to do with his joint but i wont find out until i go to my vet tomorrow. Can anyone please tell me if they've had a dog with a sprain or strain and what the symptoms where?
