A scrap metal company owe me about £450.

At the end of last year scrap yards were no longer allowed to pay cash for scrap and the company I use to take mine to started using a pre-paid card system. Despite several visits and attempts I still don't have my money.

The owner is very rarely there and I can't contact him.

What are my options?

I'm trying to view a web page which says I need to have java script enabled.

According to my settings, I do. There is also a compatibility check which confirms I do but the page still won't load.

I'm using Chrome by the way.

Right, as above. I'm currently plugged into my router via ethernet.

My network is fine as my phone is connected and I also have a Sonos system playing as I type. My PS3 will also connect. I can see several other networks just not my own.

I've checked my wireless adaptor and that is apparently fine.

I have virgin HD, routed through a Pioneer AV receiver into a Panasonic Plasma (42" 1080p).

There doesn't seem to be any difference in normal channels and the HD ones.

Any ideas as to why?

I'm having problems removing stopzilla from my system. I've tried going to control panel and uninstalling from programmes and features but I then get the following pop up.

Message 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file.

It then directs me to their homepage which my security blocks as being a suspicious site. I have ignored this once and tried to continue to uninstall but it's still on my system.

Hi, I keep receiving emails from dodgy sites that are pretending to be banks. I'm not foolish enough to open these but is there anyway to stop receiving them. I have security but maybe there is something I don't have.

I'm having problems playing videos, films etc. that I've downloaded. When I click on the file I get an error message saying "this file does not have a programme associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the control panel".

I can't find this in the control panel and I don't know what it means. Please help.

I work on building sites (Electrician) so my hands are exposed to cold, and different varieties of dust which does my skin no good. I wear the barrier cream provided and also use moisturiser once my hands are clean but my skin still splits. Gloves aren't an option as they restrict what I can do. This happens every year and this year seems to be worse for whatever reason. Suggestions please, thanks.
