My baby's father and I were together 10 years, never married. I got pregnant and he told me when our child was about 2 years old he wanted me to be a stay at home mom. I quit my four year job, and two months later he leaves me. Now we are in a custody battle for my child. I am not trying to keep my son from him but he told me he doesn't want to pay child support so he is trying to get 50/50 custody. There is a huge difference in the amount we make bc I just had to find a quick, low paying job when he left to keep food on the table. He makes 30,000 more dollars a year than me. Even if we had 50/50, wouldn't the judge still order child support? I want my son to see us both but I feel his dad is only wanting him for the wrong reasons and is gonna drop him off at the babysitters.

No health issues. We think who gave her to us lied about her age, and she wasn't around her mother long enough to learn how to use the box. We have a blanket that to this day she will try to nurse to go to sleep. She is a little under a year now and we can't get rid of this issue of the litterbox. She will use it sometimes, and other times she finds the carpet more appropriate. What can I do?

I am a mother of a 2 year old boy and have worked from the time I came back from maternity leave to a few months ago when I quit my job of 4 years. I hated my job and either needed to switch or stay at home. Living on one income is different but I am in a position I can choose whether to return to work or to continue to stay at home.

I feel like I hate staying at home and the guilt of saying that is eating away at me. What kind of mother chooses to work when she has the option to stay at home with her child? I just don't know what to do. Every time I think about going back to work I look at my child's face and think about him needing me and how selfish I am being for wishing I was working instead of being grateful to have the opportunity to raise him and be with him 24/7.

I miss the opportunity of growth I had in my own life with a career. I miss being competitive, and I miss being somebody. I feel like I am nothing here. You won't get promoted sitting at home all day. I also feel like I'm not good enough as a mom. I worry that he doesn't have any other children to interact with and learn, or that I don't teach him the correct things he needs to learn, or I don't play the right games, or I don't feed him the healthiest foods. I am just so out of my element at home.

I am just stuck. I feel sick to my stomach thinking about everything. Please... Any advice, I will gladly take.

Most jobs I see posted you have to apply through an online job board where you have to copy the text of your resume and put it in a box and then you are given the option to add a word doc, pdf whatever of your actual resume. Whats the point if all the info is already there?

is it normal for your sour cream to turn a little grainy when you add it as an ingredient to a casserole? The only ingredients I had were red potatoes, mozzarella, cheddar, sour cream and bacon. I just followed a recipe online and am not sure if that s the outcome that was intended or if I did something wrong? The recipe said to bake for 25 minutes.

I had been cramping the day before and knew my period was coming very soon. Sure enough around 12 that afternoon I got it. It is just like my other periods, I am cramping just the same and it is not light. What is the likelihood of me becoming pregnant? I also smoke cigarettes and I know that can sometimes mess with your fertility.

My husband has a cleft lip and has many surgeries he needs. His teeth are also very bad from the cleft palate too. If I go into the air force, will they pay for the healthcare he needs? from his surgeries to his dental care?

I take birth control and me and my boyfriend uses condoms. We had sex and before we did I took my pill regularly. After we had sex, about a week later I didn't take my pill thursday friday and on saturday I took the two pills for thursday and friday and not saturdays because I didn't want to take three at one time. Sunday I had dark brown blood and it was thick and I thought this was my period but it only continued for two days and it stopped altogether. Can I be pregnant

Me and my boyfriend are 17 years old and have been dating since the 7th grade. Our anniversary is on the 19th of December, close to Christmas and I was wondering if the gift I had in mind was a good idea. Before I met him I was in a bad state, and I was depressed in many ways. I used to always tell him God gave him to me so I though about getting him a promise ring with "God gave me you" engraved inside it, and then our names engraved on the outside. I would like to know if this engraving is a good idea, or if I should put our names on the inside and the other on the outside or if I should just put our names on the ring, inside or out, and get him a dogtag necklace with God gave me you. Boys.. would you wear a ring that said something like this? I just want opinions and gift ideas. I know I am getting him the ring but I also need ideas for Christmas. Maybe the ring and the necklace?
