Possible ash in my PC.?
Some ash may have gotten into my PC as a result of a recent fire in the laundrette below my flat. I was just going to vacuum around the fans or should I take it to a repair shop. I haven't used it since the fire and quite a lot of smoke got into my flat.
2 AnswersPC5 years agoWill it still be OK to use my toaster after it got covered in brick dust?
I had a plumber round earlier and whilst installing a boiler he didn't put any dust sheets down and my kitchen is covered in brick dust. He said it'll be fine, but I think he could easily afford to replace a £35 if it can't be cleaned out.

5 AnswersComputer Networking7 years agoHow can I cover up some exposed wires with plaster?
I was stripping wallpaper when I found some flaky plaster at the corner of the bath. I took it off to find some wiring there was no plaster board there either. I looked down the inside of the bath and it was the same the whole way down, it looks as though the plaster had just covered some wooden boards. I have some polyfiller so I need to cover the boards before I can apply it.

3 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)9 years agoHow can I remove the dye from my curtains?
They are 52% polyester and 48% cotton, I brought from my old house and I would like to re dye them to fit my new colour scheme. They have pink and purple stripes and I would like to change them to black and white, I don't want to just get rid of them because they are really good quality.

They are made of polyester and I've just washed them on a wool cycle using a silk and wool detergent so hopefully when they are dry they'll look a bit better.

They are inspire premium baking potatoes. I have had a good look at them and they look fine and they don't smell bad. They have been kept in a kitchen cupboard since I bought them.

2 AnswersDrama9 years agoIs it possible for the body to reabsorb a tooth that hasn't erupted?
At the age of 14 I had an X-ray that showed that I had a wisdom tooth that was stuck above the molars on my top jaw and my dentist said he couldn't remove it until it erupts but I am now 26 and I have been experiencing sensations that it has been trying to erupt. But for the last few weeks it has gotten more and more painful. My new dentist did a scan but could not see it, I told her I was still in pain so she sent me to the hospital for a full mouth X-ray and I could not see the tooth on the film. My dentist has not seen the X-ray yet she told me to bring it for my next appointment, I'm starting to think that after being stuck in my jaw for 12 years my body might have reabsorbed it but I don't know if that is possible.
Sorry for the long explanation and thanks in advance for any help, my dental surgery is
Now closed so I can't show them the X-ray.

2 AnswersMobile Phones & Plans10 years agohow much does an x-ray cost at an NHS dentist?
I have a wisdom tooth that has been unable to emerge for about 10 years and the last dentist I went to said they couldn't take it out until it starts to show through my gums but the only way for it to go is through the side of my top jaw because it is stuck above my teeth. Most of the time i don't feel anything but recently it feels like it has been trying to push out

Because when Euro zone countries had their own currencies they wouldn't drag other countries down if they went bust.
5 AnswersCurrent Events10 years agoCan anybody recommend an affordable dental insurance provider in the UK?
All the dentists in Lincoln seem to just be privately run and I can't afford private dentistry and as a hard working tax payer I'm not entitled to "free" NHS care.
