since the US doesnt make it a requirement for you to join the military at one point, they offer to pay for school and etc to attract peoples attention to join. so, we have china and other countries that makes it a requirement for people to join when reached a certain age. since they're required to join, do they get paid like the US military does it and if so, how much?

in our experiment, we started with phenol and went through a series of procedures to produce ethyl phenol ether.

in our IR spec, our product is shown, but a ketone was present (1740)... along with two peaks at 690 and 753.... which could be aromatic monosub C-H... or C-Cl... which i doubt. im not entirely sure HOW a ketone appeared in our in our final product, or the peaks at 690 and 753.

if you want to know the actual procedure, ill list that too

1. mixed 5g of phenol with 8g of CH3CH2I then with 7g of K2CO3 then with 50ml Butanol.

2. heated at boiling for 1 hour then extracted solution leaving solids

3. filter solution with butener funnel to remove salts

4. used a rotar to heat and extract acetone and other solvents

5. dissolved in ether and used NaOH to extract

6. washed with brine with butener funnel again to get product

7 used solid Cacl2 to remove(didnt write what Cacl2 was suppose to remove -_- )

8 reheat and distill final product

have to do presentation on the expirment... and i want to have a good idea where the mistakes are made that caused ketone and other peaks to show... thanks in advance.

i've been in multiple relationship in the past, and i've had good and bad experience with a variety of girls. being a good or bad girl doesnt seem to make a difference. as i given everything and dedicated 100% of my life to every girlfriend that i've had in the past. doing everything and etc never to seem to change the results at all. as they've all cheated on me and left me.

so, here i am, a guy whos about to be finish with school and going to grad school, and im thinking that maybe relationships are too complicated for me, as i love the alone time and time to myself and i do want to have kids as well. so my thoughts are whenever im ready to be a father, i would like to have a segregate mother and ill raise my kids by myself and with my parents.

i know undoubtly that raising a kid without a definite "mother" may cause problems and etc. but do you guys think its a good idea for me to do something like so?

i've been hearing ALOT about the new amazing tech that will remake laptops as we know it. but, im not a tech geek, so, what will the specs be on those new laptops? and does anyone know when it'll be released?

ALSO, im looking for a decent gaming laptop with i7 core with good grapics, like running bf3 or crisis on ultra under or a little over 1,000. HELP PLEASE!

OH, and what brand of laptop is best? i've heard that HP is horrible but i honestly do not know, some advice in what to look for would be nice! THANKS

im curious, a christian person once told me that what is the purpose in life if there is no heaven or hell. coming from her, thats what her religion emphasis. why would a religion base a good portion of their religion on a reward and punish system? can i hear answers from both sides? thanks!

im partly far sighted, and recently when im reading without glasses on, i get really sleepy and my eyes get lazy, but when i read with my glasses on, im up and ready....strange, anyone know why or have you experienced this yourself? thanks!

the heat gauge in my car would start at low, and stay in the middle after a couple of minutes. but when its at the middle, the heat never turns on. it could be sitting out there for 15-20 minutes and never turns on, also, when i drive the car around, it doesnt turn on. the only time it seems to turn on is when im on the high way. and as soon as i get off, the heat just goes dead.

my thoughts of what may be the problem and not.

1. i dont believe its the thermostat, if it was, the heat gauge would go high and low

2. could it be that it doesnt have enough coolant liquids? its full in the main tank, but not in the reservoir

3. could this possibly be something else that i havent thought of? if so, please tell me, i soon rather try to fix this myself before paying someone else to fix it

lol, i lol's so hard after hearing that.

sometimes my car wont start up, it'll sound it will, but it wont ignite. the battery is fine, its pretty new still, its been about a year since i changed the spark plugs.

the only problem that seems to happen is that, the heat wont come on until you drive a little, especially in the cold. my car doesnt seem to want to start up during the cold mornings. what seems to be the problem? ill name the problems as a list down below

Problems:

car wont start up during the cold weathers

Heat wont come on as fast during the winter, have to drive for a couple miles before you start feeling it.

the car is a Nissan Sentra Exe, 2002, it has about 140k miles on it.

its not the battery, and probably not the spark plugs neither.

any guess guys?
