  • Why do people insist not taking the carcass with you is "poaching"?

I wish someone would give me a link to the definition or law that says this, I can't find it in california fish & game or anywhere. Besides, not all animals legal to hunt are even game, like prairie dogs. No one takes their meat, just leave them . At what point then is it "poaching"? And, please, a link only. If it is illegal to poach, and just leaving it is "poaching" I'd like to see where it is actually against the law. No, I would never waste game, I just don't see where you get it. It wasn't in my hunter's safety class. It's definitely irresponsible. All I know take it with them, if they don't eat it, they donate it.

  • If I remove the grenade launcher from a Yugo SKS, will it be legal in CA?

I know I can call CA DOJ, but anyone have experience with this? Statutes and links would be appreciated.

  • Are spud guns legal? (potato cannons)?

I can't find a law against them in my home state (Arizona). Cops took mine 2 years ago. I'm not asking them they will lie to me.

  • I keep having this dream.?

    Yeah, another one .

I make up 12 sticks of Anfo with turpentine and 12 silver fulminate caps. I tie them around my waist under an antique white linen diuster. I ride my bicycle to the East Monument near closing. I show the toll booth guard my "goods" and ask her to give mer her radio (why is it always a She?), and lie on the floor. , I am crying and constantly rtll her I don't want to hurt her. She says " Then, whats the Powder for?" I can't argue with her logic....

I tie her up, taking her H/T with me and disabling her base unit. I bicycle way off into the monument, way off the trail. I thave a radio with earphone and a bottle of 21 Year Old Scotch. Exactly at midnight, the cusp of toaday and tomorrow, under the stars, I touch off a fuse with a cheap stogie. I count the 15 secounds out loud until I am blown to bits. My last thoughts are of my pets and how I hope my body isn't found for weeks, but there are so many turkey buzzards...

I think constantly also of how much KCl in solution it would take to kill me. And, buy helium balloons to stick my head in. My revolver has one shot in it. My will is filed.(although my sister wants more than I bequeathed!) I keep playing "Rock and Roll Heaven" and "Suicide is painless" on YouTtube.

Could the stress of my upcoming trial bring on these fantasies of cheating the system with suicide?

  • What epoxy is Best? I've had a lot of trouble with JB Kwik, lately.?

I used to use JB weld for everything. Lately, it seems it doesn't want to stick to itself. If I try to add more, say, if I find a leak or a void on hardening, the new epoxy doesn't adhere. I have to go down to bare metal and start again.

And, the JB kwik I've used (there are times I can't wait 24 hours or the stuff runs out of the hole) has just Crumbled on hardening. It's soft as plaster. I've tried 2 batches, months apart, same result.

Yes, I mix it evenly and thoroughly. I roughen the surface then clean with acetone.

Are any of those Super Epoxies (you know, showing a golf ball glued to a bottle) any good? I tried a few, they weren't as good as Original JB weld. I'm getting tired of spending more money trying epoxies than a new part is worth. Feel I should start my own website.

Yes, I've Emailed JB weld. I figure they owe me for a few bad tubes.

  • I saw a white pigeon with tan, is it an albino?

I saw a mostly white pigeon yesterday, with some tan feathers. Eyes weren't pink, they were amber. Was it an albino, or escaped domestic breed? How rare are albino pigeons?

  • Do actors ever legally change their names?

I know John Wayne was Marion Morrison, Roy Rogers was Leonard Sli. My question is, do they just "go by" these stage names, and have their real name on all legal documents? Or, do they ever bother to legally change them? 'Cause I know one of Martin Sheen's boys is Emilio Estevez, his father's birth name.

  • Lawyer says I can't even talk to a br. in church, since he works for d/a. This doesn't sound legal?

My lawyer told me I can't even talk to a certain brother in church because he "works for DA". He is my home teacher. This sounds like a violation of separation of church and state, and free speech. Is this legal? I am under indictment, but I still don't see how these civil rights can be compromised.

  • What was the name of the sci fi movie about abducted nerd and Varlerie Perrine?

What was the name of that, I think sci-fi movie, where a nerd is abducted by aliens for study. But, he becomes lonely. So, a woman (of course, Valerie Perrine!) gets sent up to be with him. They fight of course, but eventually she has a baby. I remember the last scene, where the baby bites Valerie on her breast when she tries to feeds him. I think it was done about 1978 when she also had played in "Superman".

  • I received some stamps I didn't order through the mail. May I keep them?

I ordered : "free, three US stamps" from a flyer. I got them, along with 6 sets of other stamps , marked about four dollars apiece, and a bill. I didn't see any written contract obligating me to pay for these or send them back. I know the law varies by state. Can I keep them all without paying?

This is a real bummer as they were for my nephew's Christmas. I can't afford to pay for the others right now.

  • Some of my CD's work fine in my DVD player or computer, but not in car?

I found a lot of audio CD's. They work fine in my DVD player or computer, but the car CD player rejects them. Most are factory CD's, not DVDs. My player plays some factory CD's well. It otherwise works fine. Are there different formats, or is it just that older CD players aren't compatible with these? (It's a Pioneer DEH-305, I know it's at least 3 years old and not made anymore.)

  • What constitutes" possession" of a firearm?

Is it just having one in your residence, or can it also be borrowing one at the range, owner there, with his/her permission?

EDIT: Just physical control can't be right. I read in a murder non fiction book about a felon (rights not restored) in NY state, who was living with his girl friend. It was her house. She had her guns (they were registered to her) locked in a safe, she only knew the combination. But, he still got it on "possession".

  • What is the law about Halloween candy, treats?

I have heard:"no unsealed, unwrapped". But is it a suggestion, or, law?

I've never heard of anyone arrested over this. I've heard of cops going to someone's door over it, but just once.

I would love to give them something healthier, like apples, nuts. I remember them handing out cigarettes (for my Dad!) when I was a child!

I have some toys that don't go bad if you can't give them away, and are healthier.

  • Atheists: Why can't you state an Opinion?

I have no trouble with an opinion,. but you people Always end up with a conclusion--no links to back you up, even.

    Like, saying: "I don't believe in god......because he's imaginary". This Isn't an opinion, it's a conclusion.

Why can't you say siomething like: "I Believe he's imaginary" -? Most have no trouble with that.

  • How do you compare Y!A to other sites you've used?

I've been on Answers.com. I sometimes took great exception that Anyone could "edit" my answer.

I usually prefer Y!A. Great Spell Check! But, sometimes, the most "popular" answer is far from right. The right one is too often a lone voice , one of ten or more, crying in the wilderness...

    Your experience/thoughts?
