I'm a girl in my early twenties and I've never been in a relationship but now I'm coming to that stage where I'm looking to find the one and get married. But I think that the image of marriage in my head is very utopic, it's those perfect, cute relationships you see on tv, which is why I'm afraid I'll be disappointed when I actually do get married. So can someone tell me if marriage is really worth it? If you could please tell me the pros and cons it would really help me out and perhaps bring me back to reality. I feel really lonely at times and I imagine marriage would cure my loneliness so don't disuade or discourage me because I really do want to get married one day but I would just like to know what I'll be getting myself into so that later I don't end up saying 'well nobody told me!'. A few weeks ago i had a blood test done immediately after eating, and my serum insulin levels were exceedingly high. I don't know why my doctor did this test, and i don't know why he did it after eating. Then i went for a second opinion and the other doctor said it should have been fasting. So i had a fasting glucose test, the one to find out if you are diabetic or not, and all the results were normal including serum insulin. My question is, is it normal for insulin to be high after eating? Or should i be having another test to find out if i am diabetic or not? I'm in my early 20s and i'm not overweight and don't have a history of diabetes in my family either. But recently i've been getting this weird foot pain and i heard its a sign of diabetes! I am so scared!

I need to write a paper on them but i am not sure i completely understand the reforms. I'd like to know who they affect? How they affect the people? What is the public reaction? And the most important question, what should the government have done other than impose these benefit or welfare cuts? What is the alternative to this problem?

I ordered something from my football clubs website and i chose the standard delivery option of 3-10 days. As of today it's been 13 working days and still no delivery! When my order was dispatched on the 21.10.13, the club emailed me confirming that it was on its way but stated i should allow 17 working days before emailing them for problems. I've never ordered from global mail service of dhl, i've always chosen express but it was proving to be too expensive so i chose the cheaper option but now i am regretting it! What should i do? There is no way to track the order either.

My friend can speak, read and write Urdu and she wants to know if Persian would be easy for her to learn? Are they both similar languages? Or should she learn Arabic? But Arabic is more difficult compared to Persian right?

I'm 22 years old, and I've noticed my last 3 periods have been 1 day late, 4 days early & now I feel like I'm about to have it 1 week early! I'm not taking any contraceptives & I'm still a virgin. I've never had irregularities in my cycle before..there's no difference in the pain or duration of my period. However the last 3 months were extremely stressful for me! I went through a horrible experience and took a lot of stress because of that, so could the irregularity be the after effects of the past stress I suffered? Please help! But don't scare me I worry too much!

Since January i've noticed i've been getting these very tiny whitish spots on my lower eyelids. First it was just my right eye, and now it's also my left. I usually notice them when i wake up, its just one spot on either my right or left lower eyelid and by the next few days they're gone! I've done research on the internet and so far nothing matches my description. They are not painful or itchy, they don't swell or become red or bleed and are not crusty either. I tried to pop them and they usually get smaller and disappear by themselves but why do I keep getting these? Please don't scare me and say its eye cancer, i'm a hypohcondriac so I would die if you scared me! I have been to the doctor he said it was an infection and gave me drops, but i get them again and again and i can't keep on going to the doctors! I am using frequent eye makeup but i stopped using it to see if it was because of it but i still got them!

I bought a pair of converse a while back but they were the last pair so the salesman gave me one shoe from those displayed at the window. At the time I did not realize it was faded, probably because i was too desperate to buy them. Now i've realised that you can definitely tell one of the shoe is more faded compared to the other. I want to wear them but I don't want to look stupid either. How can i make it as faded as the other shoe quickly? Putting it in the sun will take ages won't it? And it's got studs on it so i don't know if washing it will ruin those.

I'm now going to be a sophomore in college..i'm doing B.A in International Relations. Just recently my 'ambitious' friends brought up the topic of Minor degrees and I basically have no idea about that! Is it really compulsory for me to do it? My friends are going to take physics courses along with the International Relation course and are forcing me to take them as well! I on the other hand have no interest AT ALL in physics i hated it in high school and i doubt that'll change in college. Also i don't think my college requires me to do a minors degree so the question is are my friends crazy or am I? I know it'll look good on their resume & possible increase their job options but if I don't want to have a minors degree is that okay? As it is I have 7 courses in International Relations this year and I honestly could not handle anymore! I'm so confused please help!
