I read that Google only indexes 0.03% of the web?
Is this true? If so, what's in the remaining 99.97% we can't see?

Thanks, it's for a good cause...
(I know I asked this question already - but just a few more languages would be great :)

Like if he ate a meal at a restaurant and was told it didn't contain pork when in fact it did?

Did couples used to be literally tied together for the ceremony in the old days, or is it just a metaphor?
6 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoVirgin Broadband Users: Is this Normal?
Hi, I got connected to Virginmedia wireless broadband today. However I noticed that the 'send' light on the cable modem is constantly flickering, as well as the green internet light on the wireless router. This happens even when my computer is turned off!
Is this normal? On my old internet none of the lights flashed unless you were actually using it. I would be grateful if any other Virgin users could let me know if their modem does the same! Thanks :)
7 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoWhat exactly does 'break it down' mean in a song?
Like if someone says something like 'it's time to break it down', (which happens in basically every other song!) - what do they actually intend to do?

Since white reflects light (so should make you cooler) and black absorbs light (so should make you warmer). So shouldn't that mean that Africans should be white and Northern Europeans black?

8 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoWill quantum tunnelling enable me to walk through walls?
As far as I understand it quantum tunnelling means that there is a small but finite chance that an atom will tunnel through a barrier when it reaches it rather than bouncing back. Does this mean that if I repeatedly hurl myself at a brick wall I will eventually pass through it?

5 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoDoes everyone kiss...?
Do people of all nationalities, races, tribes etc. kiss? Is kissing a cultural thing we pick up from our society, or is the desire to kiss something that's instinctive, that we're born with?
14 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoWhy have I started getting really bad hangovers?
A year or so ago I could stay up all night getting wrecked, grab a couple of hours kip, and wake up feeling a bit groggy but basically a few glasses of water and a shower and I was good for work. And all this 3 or 4 times a week every week. When people said they couldn't go out as they were working the next day I honestly had no idea what they meant...
Then I turned 30... Now whenever I drink (even not that much) It's all I can do to crawl out of bed the next day. I basically feel like death warmed up and the day after that is pretty ropey too. It's getting to the point where the pleasure of drinking is seriously started to get outweighed by the pain!
Whats going on? Anyone else had this happen to them (please say I'm not alone :-) Is it the onset of old age? I had a blood test for my liver function and it was fine.

3 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhy are all the 'Recent Questions Suggested for me ' from the Radio section?
Honestly, every single one is like: what's the code for this radio, what was the code on ... radio show and stuff like that. To the best of my knowledge I have never answered a question from the Radio section but every single Yahoo recommended question is from this section! I though they were supposed to be based on questions I had recently answered?
I know I can turn it off, but I prefer to have a rant about it instead!
