  • Where to sell a broken laptop?

I have a broken Dell laptop. The screen doesn't work and the keyboard is dead, but if connected to a second screen, can be operated just fine with the onscreen keyboard. It has presented no software issues and will work fine connected to the internet as long as it has a second screen connected. I think the most I can get for it is about $40, but I don't know where I can sell it. The only sites I can find are really obvious scams.

  • When I turn my TV on, the antenna on the TV in the other room messes up and won't play smoothly.?

It only started happening a few days ago. Both are flatscreen HD TVs and have never interrupted eachother before. The only thing that's changed is that a new antenna was recently connected to the other TV. I've switched back to using an older TV for now and it doesn't interrupt the antenna at all. What can be done so that I can use the newer TV again, if anything?

  • Can I legally ask on a gofundme type site for donations to get my school a new bus?

I've asked questions about the ridiculous bus situation before, and now I want to know if I could collect the money for a new bus (Which I know is very high) on a donation website and then give it to the authorities of my school district to fix the problem. We've contacted the bus garage and principals of all the schools the bus goes to multiple times and got shrugged off every time. The standing problem has gotten worse. The bus driver has gotten into the habit of slamming on the brakes while people are standing and a few have fallen down. Nobody in an authority position seems to care about the problem or do anything about it. Would a donation from an outside source help at all to fix things?

  • Is there a way to melt and remold Kroger water bottles?

I have copious amounts of empty Kroger water bottles and want yo repurpose them. I had an idea to melt them down and pour the molten plastic into a. mold of a drinking glass so I could reuse them. First, is this possible, second, is it safe, and third, if yes, what materials should I use to do it?

  • Is it legal for the school to do this?

My boyfriend is 17, and has a very slight disability that affects his ability to understand math, but nothing else. Recently, the school called him to the office and had him sign several forms confirming that he does indeed have a form of a disorder. Later that day, he was removed from his spanish class (which he was getting excellent grades in) and put him into a "class" that required him to clean, pull weeds, and other things like this outside the school. They said that Spanish would've caused him excessive mental strain and that they were helping him by moving him. Later, they removed him from his driver's education class for the same reason and he has to help wash dishes starting today. He's far more stressed now than he ever was in those two classes, because he was actually glad to learn in both. He has done absolutely nothing to bring forth punishment. Is this legal? I feel that this is against child labor laws.

  • How can I dispel or stop disturbing intrusive thoughts?

For some time now, I've had issues with intrusive thoughts. The thoughts come in a multitude of varieties, and they're beginning to worry me with how focussed they're becoming on explicit subjects. As I'm still in my teens, I suspect my hormones may be partially to blame, but that doesn't mean I just want to grin and bear these disgusting thoughts. Hearing things like this disturbs me, and the fact that my own mind is forcing them on me is slightly horrifying. Is there anything I could do to stop them?

  • Why am I so terrible at math?

I pay attention in class and take all my notes, and yet I still don't understand. I try to do the equations correctly, but it's like trying to read a language I never learned and translate it. Is there something I'm doing wrong? What could I try to improve?

  • If this were a real situation, what could have happened?

I had a nightmare last night that my mom saw a mother wolf and her babies walking across our yard, then shot the mom and killed all but one of the defenseless babies. I got pissed (I love wolves) and asked why she did it, and she said that she thought one of us would step outside and get killed by the mama wolf. I told her she could've called animal control and they would've tranquilized the wolf and transported her back to where she belonged, since wolves aren't native to where we live. She argued that animal control would've killed them, too. When I woke up, I talked to my parents about the dream and they both told me that animal control doesn't use tranquilizers on wolves and would've killed the wolf and her babies for the safety of nearby people. Is this true, or am I correct that if this situation were real, they would've brought the wolf back to where she belonged?

  • Can I test this game somehow before I buy it?

I want to buy Minecraft pocket edition for my device. I have the money in cash, and I'll have to buy a google play card to use it. The thing is, the app says it's compatible with my phone, but the last time I bought a game for my phone that said it was compatible, I tried as hard as I could to make it work, but it just kept opening a black screen for a full minute and force closing. and when I gave up on it, it was already too late to get my money back from google play. I've run the mcpe demo on my device before, and it ran quite well, but I'm not sure if that would indicate that the newer version would work. Is there a way I could test it before I go get a card to buy it, or would buying it be the only way?

  • Is it legal for a school bus driver to overcrowd their bus?

My bus is ridiculously overcrowded. It's shared by a large group of primary school kids, slightly fewer middle school kids, and then about eight high school students, including myself. Today, all of the high school students that were there had to stand on the way home because of how many younger kids are on the bus. I'm not exaggerating. This situation has been getting worse and worse and now people have to stand every day. There's nothing for the people standing to hold onto... And there is a sign on the inside of the bus that says,"no standing permitted.". Is this legal? I know it's far from safe.

  • My phone won't install the apk file of an app I've owned before?

Since the newer version of facebook messenger doesn't work all too well for me, I went to a site that allows you to download older versions of apps and downloaded the version I had before I updated. When the download, I tried to install it and for some reason, my phone wouldn't. I do have "Allow installation of non-market apps" checked, I downloaded the file multiple times and it installed all the way through. Still, it just keeps saying,"problem parsing package". Is there anything I can do?

  • Is this animal abuse? Should I do something?

My boyfriend's dad bought a dog yesterday, a yorkie puppy. My boyfriend was very happy at first, because he's wanted a pet for a long time. But, this morning, he texted me saying he was upset because his dad had confined the puppy to a room that locks with a key before he left the house today. My boyfriend is still there, but for some reason, his dad thinks it's better to keep a new puppy locked in a room by itself than let his son, who has cared for dogs before, look after it. No, he does not have a history of hurting animals, he's the type of person who rescues spiders and takes them outside rather than kill them. There is nobody else there to keep an eye on the dog. My boyfriend has no key and says the puppy is crying, barking and scratching at the door trying to get out. Is this animal abuse? Should someone be alerted to what his dad is doing?

  • Is there any way that I could fix this laptop?

My parents bought a laptop that was at first off-limits to me and my younger siblings. After some time, I was allowed to use it occasionally. Later, they were allowed to use it as well. They wound up breaking the keyboard. Some of the keys are dead and a couple are missing. They didn't drop it, but I think they may have spilled soda on it. The screen and speakers are still in perfect condition. It's just the keyboard that's messed up. Is there any hope of fixing it?

  • I'm looking for a realistic, but fake prop dog skeleton without any ears on it...?

I need a prop skeleton dog, and I've already looked around google and only found ones that have ears attached to the skull, unlike an actual dog skeleton. I can't spend over 55$ on it.

  • Is this a bad or unhealthy idea for my cat?

I've been looking into getting a harness and leash for my 2 1/2 year old mutt cat. The thing is, she's an outside cat, but I almost never see her go beyond this one line of trees on a hill above our house. I feel like she'd like to go on walks with me and see new places with someone she trusts. Would this be a bad idea since she's an outside cat? would it hurt her somehow?

  • What is with this mouse?

A mouse got into our house and we've seen it running around in circles, sitting up on its haunches, and it fell over once. Is it rabid? Would it hurt my cat if we sent her after it?

  • Which would be better for me?

I haven't eaten anything today because all the food in the house was either some kind of greasy chips or something drenched in sugar. When my parents finally came home, I was hoping they had brought something better... But no, they brought a pizza. They refuse to go back out and get anything else. Would it be better for me to eat some of the pizza or just not eat for now?

  • What is this terrifying bug?

Me and my siblings were sitting in the kitchen and my brother screamed out of nowhere. I looked and saw something thT looked like a huge cockroach, but I'm not quite sure because of the thing's size. I would provide a picture, but I'm afraid the thing will eat my soul if I get too close to it. What could it possibly be?

  • Could this hurt me?

I accidentally left a bit of milk in a reusable bottle overnight and it spoiled. I asked someone how to get the germs and the smell out so I could use the bottle again and they said to put some mouthwash in it and swish it around, then use more to disinfect the parts of the lid. I did just now and afterward rinsed it all off twice with warm water as thoroughly as I could. I'm not sure if I actually got it all out, because the bottle still smells a bit like the mouthwash. should I put it through the dishwasher before using it, or just rinse it a few more times?
