My landlord took my stove saying she would replace with an efficiency. I haven't heard anything from her, The old one is in the hallway, and the neighbors took part of it. I have nothing to cook on, what shall I do?

I moved into an apartment three months ago and the 2nd night I woke to the police looking for my downstairs neighbor. I mean lots of police.They had the house surrounded. From my understanding this is on going. I have only had constant problems with loud music and fire engines because the neighbors lights were turned off and she was using one hallway plug for all the house appliances. The last straw was yesterday when the music was so loud I asked the landlord to speak with them, instead he called the police and after they left they ( downstairs) came up and knocked stating we called the police and they started with threats( how he just got out of prison from doing 5 years) it was very scary.They said the police told him I called them. I think the landlord said this to the officer. Can I sue the landlord to get my rents back for the months I have been here so I can move to a safer environment. The front doors have no locks, trash is being thrown on my porch, it is so many problems. Please tell me my rights. I feel very unsafe in this building and the landlord knew all these problems existed and he still won't do anything about them. I believe he is afraid of the guy which I don't blame him but this is to much. I am very quiet and church going and the landlord new this but wanted money, so he didn't care. What can I do?

Will workman s comp pay me for having surgery. Does having surgery on my left wrist for dequevains disease be considered hand surgery. And surgery on my right thumb. They don't want to settle but what about my scaring. My trigger thumb surgery was done on the line in my hand and the scar is on my left wrist above the left thumb.

I was hurt on the job and have been out of work with dequevians disease. I have had surgery, cortisone and now am doing therapy. I will be in therapy for a few months. My attorney told me she is having a conciliation meeting. What is this and what happens at the meeting. Will they be discussing a settlement on my case?

I moved into a new place a month ago and the second night being here I awake to a knock at the door, it was the police, they had surrounded the house looking for my neighbors boyfriend, She plays music( shake house loud) until sometimes 3:00 am in the morning. I told the landlord I want out of the lease because he knew he was having these problems but he said no. My lease also states the front door is to stay locked at all times but never has that been the case. He has also left a lot of unfinished repairs in the unit. I said we are going to court because I am breaking our lease agreement. It is also my understanding that this is an ongoing problem in the building. I told him I will stay for 2 months to give him time to find a new tenant plus pay him three months rent after leaving. which is a total of six months, but I am moving because I do not feel safe. When the police surrounded the house I heard him yelling at the girlfriend saying how often she calls them. How do I obtain that report of how often they visit this house?

Me and my ex- boyfriend decided to move in together again, but after moving in he became the boyfriend from h...! I told him it was not going to work both of us in the same house but he took one of the other rooms and said he would need three months to move. I said that would be fine but I found out today that he is planning on living rent free the whole time. I said this wasn't happening and he said to bad. what should I do, what can I do? The landlord gave me a lease with both our names on it, but then gave me another with just my name on it. I counted the first lease as voided but he still seems to think he is on the lease and he can now stay rent free. We have only been in the same house for 3 weeks.what are my rights.

My landlord keeps roosters in the garage. I believe he uses them for fighting. They make so noise. Is this against the law.

I hurt both hands at work. I have had surgery on one hand and will soon have it on the other. I am getting workman compensation and have an attorney for that because the agent was so nasty, I thought it best. I spoke with the union and they said to talk with my attorney but they said that is not there area of cases worked. My first surgery clearly shows I will not be able to use my hands in the same manner. What should I do about this, I feel like someone has just thrown me to the dogs. I get workers compensation and food stamps. I got an increase in my benefit amount ( have not gotten the check yet)and got a letter stating that my food stamps have been cut off. Did this information about my increase come up on her computer.

I brought this to her attention and she said that my employer had not sent in my wage report. I have received a check but it is $500.00 short. So what is the base that she is using.or is it that she has to send something to me until she gets this report as to what I earned a week? can she do this and what should I do? She is only giving me 42% of my weekly wage.

when I go to any site the page isn't coming up totally and I keep getting a pop up saying stack overflow at line 0. I am also getting x's in certain boxes on every page. Do I have an infection? and if so should I be using my computer?

I was hired but I believe they kept me on because they have other employees going on vacation and don't have enough time to find someone else. An employer called me to come in and told me to bring in my uniform for work. We talked and he asked that I start that day. I asked him what the position paid and he told me 10.00 hourly entry. I worked from 2-11pm. About 6:00 I was told from an employer that I was working for free and the chef was just checking out a few people untill making a choice.
